There have been rumors to that effect floating around.

 

When's the last time you bought one?
Last yellow top I bought shit the bed in about 2 years. That was with it staying on a battery tender when not in use and all.
Ever since they moved their production to Mexico a few years or so back, they've been getting some heat.

 

Love sly park. But damn it has gotten so expensive

 

last year about to buy another to replace the battery in my ZR2(still has the battery in it from the day I bought it)

 

100% the same here

I've run everything from sports cars, to cars with HUGE stereos, to offraod vehicles with big draws from winches etc, to my truck now with all the offroad draws AND a big stereo... no problems.

 

kind of like when, I used to get flak for running BFGs on all my vehicles. they never have let me down in 20+ years.

 

Don’t think that’s the same, I’ve heard the same think about optima. They made a huge manufacturing change…that could directly effect their reliability and I’ve heard of several people experiencing these issues

Ideally I'm hunting for a 7x14 but the market is BONKERS right now

Thanks for tagging me and pushing me over the edge. I saw the post yesterday and mostly had forgotten about it. I was inching towards putting in an order at BFF for basically this bumper. Score!
Now instead of waiting 12-ish weeks, I'm plotting hacking my truck.

 

Spots 10, 12, 14 and 16.. those are the ones to get. And, yeah... they are getting expensive. Everything local is.
