    Luckily we’re all driving 3rd gens and new vehicles are smog exempt for 8 years so won’t be an issue for 3 years at the soonest for those with 2016 models. Additionally, CVC offers free reflashes if something were to happen sooner. No worries though if you’re not comfortable let me know and I’ll remove you from the list.

    OK, that means with my 2019 I have 6 more years to get VFtuner. Keep me on the list please.

    I'd like to get in on the group buy with AGM, but I'll need to make an alternative date arrangement with Chan.

    Met up with @chanvchau today in Santa Rosa. The drive home was ... amazing. Best $200 spent. Thanks Dude!

    Shout out to the small crew of guys who were there today as well. It was cool chatting with you all.

    I've gone through over a tank of gas now after getting the CVC tune from @chanvchau almost 2 weeks ago and it's really been so much better. It drives the way I expect a truck to and I don't notice any weird shifting and struggling anymore. Highly recommend even just for every day driving.

    Got my truck tuned yesterday afternoon by @chanvchau and holy fucking shit balls what a difference. The truck used to have like a three stage power band. It was gutless up until about 2100 and you notice a bump in power and then again at about 3500 another bump now it’s a nice smooth continuous power band with more low-end torque and horsepower going all the way to the top of the RPM range.It doesn’t downshift into fourth gear anymore when going up the slightest hill which is really nice. It makes a huge difference especially being that my truck is so heavy and has the arrow dynamics of a cinderblock. I can only imagine how much better it would be for the guys on 33’s.Pictures of my fat heavy pig and what it weighs on a scale for reference.

    So "CVC" is "chanvchau"? Is it like his own custom tune maps?
    Different from the vF tunes and the KDMax tunes?

    Correct. Arguably, better than vF tunes and KDMax.

    I have it and love it.

    I’m certain I burned through all the remaining 87 octane in my tank on a trip I took to Big Bear this past weekend and am now getting the full benefits of the 91 tune. I was able to keep the truck in 6th gear with cruise control on for a good portion of the trip until I got to very hilly areas. Averaged just under 20 mpg on the way there. Coming back was lower, about 17.5 with the strong headwind. I’m sure it doesn’t help that I’m not exactly light on the throttle in 1st and 2nd, it’s just too damn fun! Very happy with the tune.

    Is there any more slots available for the tune in Sacramento on 7/17.

    I'm going to have to pull out. I realized from another thread that not having the fuel pump recall done beforehand could mean they wipe the tune. So I'll take care of that first.

    @chanvchau Do you take cash/credit?
    Where in Union City will the July 25 event be?

    For your CVC tune, did you start from the base image or the vF image? What settings were changed?

    I met up with @chanvchau today for the CVC tune, and I’m already getting nearly 21 MPG on the highway in Bay Area traffic in my MT. Throttle is so much smoother and more responsive, especially in 1st-3rd. Definitely recommend this tune, and it took all of 10 minutes to set up.
