Yep. I have more respect for LEO's that are honest about it though. Just let me know you pulled me over to make sure I wasn't a danger to everyone else on the road and I'm good. If you give me some BS excuse about pulling me over for beadlocks your gonna get laughed at.

Yeah, I'm just glad I didn't have to do more than say "they're not beadlocks."

I'd just get real beadlocks. you're adding 90% of the weight of beadlocks by adding rock rings and very little additional function.

If LEO asks if they are beadlocks, of course they aren't. Just faux locks. How is he going to disprove you on the side of the road when you don't have any tools?

A CHP pulled Cory over to make a statement? I would definitely file a complaint. My issue will be, I'm traveling at 65mph and a cop can tell I have beadlock on?

Technically any modification that is added on can be deemed unsafe and illegal. From welding rock slider on (can make the frame unsafe), front or rear bumper (not DOT approved) to the electronic gadgets and sticker on the window is deemed view obstruction. WELCOME TO CALIFORNIA!

To be fair, my truck needs another alignment. He probably thought I was drunk trying to keep it on the road, plus it's a heavily modified vehicle, so he probably though easy pickings. I didn't really care. If I had to do more than answer a few questions, then I would be filing a complaint.

Icon has DOT approved beadlocks and they weigh 32#
1 piece wheel, uses 16 hardened bead retention pins.
    Very interesting design.
