    Gents, ladies....and others...

Just starting my research....any decent units with Apple Car Play that you're using? Post your links. I see a lot of cheap stuff on Amazon for like $150 and I'm like....nah..too good to be true. Let me know!!

Check with crutchfield.com for ones that will fit your vehicle. They have all you need fo install and provide technical help as needed.

And they are located in Charlottesville right up I-64 from you.

I got a fairly basic unit from Sony a few years ago (XAV-AX1000); I don't think it was more than $300 or so plus adapters and all. Got it via Cruchfield. Works great for my needs.

I've been running a Kenwood DNX996XR with wireless CarPlay for 2 years now.

Good luck finding anything other than a no-name chinese android unit, a few of last years models, or the high end models. I bought a last-year model for just over $200 (Boss Audio soemthing or other with wired carplay) and it was just about the only thing under $500 I could find.

Crutchfield is a great place to start though.

I have the same model . It works good for what I need. But I don’t think they make it any longer. One reason I bought it was it had a actual volume knob
