Hello! Before I even get started I have read multiple forums and still have not figured this issue out.
I have a 2008 Toyota Tacoma TRD 4x4 V6. I have had this pulsating brake pedal haunt me for almost a year... the brakes feel great while driving straight and hitting the brakes or turning right...the problem is when I am driving and turning left and hitting the brakes to slow down, that is when my brakes are pulsating or feeling spongy/bouncy. Also when the brakes are pulsating I hear a humming noise come from behind the dash. Sounds like some motor of some sort..... once I turn my wheel straight the noise and the pulsating stops.
i have changed my front brakes, rotors, calipers, brake booster, master cylinder, abs sensors and abs module...I have yet to fix the problem..
I would really appreciate if someone could give me some feedback. Thank you!

Have you scanned the abs/trac system for trouble codes?

Climb under your truck on the drivers side. Grab your Inner Axle at the Differential and Shake it. If it's loose you will know it. Then look up ECGS Clamshell CV Axle Bushing Install. My guess is you wiped out your axle too.
Cross your fingers the internals in the diff survived.

I have a bone stock 2014 Taco with 67k that wiped out that bearing and the Axle. I replaced with bushing and new Axle. Very similar symptoms to what you described. Problem solved
And..... a 2018 4Runner Bone Stock with only 20k same problem I have yet to fix... Toyota would only replace with same pos part not the bushing. Right now I'm really pissed at Toyota...

Therefore, I had to do it myself. It's not complicated just a bit involved. Watch a few videos then buy the parts and tools.
Cost me $500 but for two vehicles. Just need the Puller, Seal install tool, Torque Wrench, and 35mm socket. the rest just handtools etc,

    Please report back. Badzook

You may have a bad ABS encoder on one of the front wheels.

The "hammer sound" is likely the ABS system pulsing.

If the pulsating doesn't occur when the OP isn't on the brakes when turning left, then this has nothing to do with OP's problem.

Yep could be corrosion buildup on the tone ring on the inner face of the wheel bearing. Relatively easy to diagnose with a scan tool.

I believe the tone ring is on the CV.

Edit: duh. You're right. The tone rings are on the rear wheel bearings.

The front tone rings are on the bearing inner face. This way it is better protected against water and corrosion compared to the CV-mounted tone rings on some FWD cars. However, water still gets in after 13 years, especially if taken off-road.

I appreciate all the responses to my issue… I am not certain if my truck has VSC or not… I don’t see any VSC light or button on the truck….. I had it serviced and was told to change all of the wheel speed sensors and I did…. Then my abs and brake light came on and it start pulsating even more than normal… I had it scanned with a OBD2 reader and the code that comes up is C1239 “foreign matter is attached on the tip of left rear sensor”…. So next I completely removed the left rear drum and cleaned the hub where the sensor reads off of… not sure what that part is called….. and truck still drives like crap….. I tried to remove both abs fuses and it drives great without it… no brake issues without the abs fuse connected….

Pretty sure sensor and tone ring is built into the wheel bearing assembly, whatever you cleaned with the drum off probably wasn't the tone ring

Probably needs a new bearing assembly

Try pulling off abs sensor and see if its contaminated with oil . Axle seal could be leaking .

I would say if your steering wheel shakes then warped rotors. If your brake peddle pulsates it could be warped rear drums. I would pull each rear and see if you have a spot that gives resistance when turning.

Common! Slippers and socks, are you kidding? Go put some boots on, crack open a beer and put that in the pic for crying out loud.
