Trying to decide between the Factor 55 ProLink and ProLink E. I like the simplicity of the original, but I wouldn't mind having the option to use soft shackles and this really should be a one time purchase.

Got my leads fabricated, will redo them in the fall to be a bit cleaner.

Primed the fender bumper supports and reinstalled.

Received and installed my Factor 55 lead.

    Let’s go wheeling.

Since the rain ruined my plans, I cleaned up where I spend like 80 hours a week.

The truck has developed an annoying creak, and I'm not quite sure where it is coming from. Perhaps RF corner. Sounds like when my 200k CRV needed struts. I'll need to investigate more, but the truck only has 17k on it, it shouldn't be making that noise. All the armor seems to still be snug, but I'll go around and put a socket on all the bolts anyway.

Haven't been able to hit up any trails, so I decided to do some four wheeling in my back yard.

Burned a little clutch, 4Lo got a good workout, got off-camber, used my winch...a lot.

See, wife, taking down this shed is proof I needed all this stuff.

MESO finally opened up his 3D print windows, so I ordered up a three port panel to replace my driver cubby, and a two port to go into the overhead console. I might end up needing more, but this will allow me to to cut up the back of the overhead panel yet, and I can always sell this off.

Still need to investigate my creaking issue, just haven't had a lot of energy lately.

And the next mod I think I'm going to do is to pick up ditch lights. I missed out on the cheaper Caliraised mounts on Amazon, and I need to do research on the lights. Don't want to spend a ton, but don't want the cheapest shit either.

Crossed 18.5 the other day, which means 12k miles in just over 17 months. About what I expected, considering my activities really didn't change with COVID.

    On deck are the following:
    • V2 dual color dome light. The super bright white will not be good for camping.
    • 3D print switch holders for the driver cubby and overhead.
    • Extended fuse cover to hide the add-a-fuse
All the above are ordered and just have to wait for delivery. I also am considering a sale on ditch lights in the next week or so. My next "need" mod is going to be the 2LO, as I've smoked my clutch a bit twice in the last couple of months backing up steep inclines.

Meso 3D print items got a ship notice today, so that’s nice.

Still haven’t sorted out my creaking issue, but I may have narrowed some of it down to the bumper rubbing against the front clip. May try to find some foam tape to cut that out. Then I’m going to enlarge the holes in the frame where my TC skid attaches. Those are my best guesses at this point.

The heim joints at the bottom of my coilovers are shot. It squeaks everywhere at low speeds.

You're still on a stock suspension right?

Yes. The squeak is located somewhere on the upper part of the suspension or something connected to the body at the wheel well. I thought it might be an AC line squeaking in a body mount, but I'm going to schedule my fuel pump recall while I still have warranty.

The clunking can't be duplicated while stationary, so I'm thinking it has something to do with body or frame flex. I'm going to pull the skids one at a time and see what happens. After that, the bumper.

I'd say the clunking incidences have been reduced almost to zero. Even the squeaking has been reduced, but I'm not entirely sure why.

I believe I have traced the squeak to under the power steering reservoir, as if the two pieces of sheet metal are rubbing against each other.
