Got my vent visors, nerfs and $100 Toyota brand (ugly/functional) tool box in today.

 

Started late but got my Clazzio seat covers 90% installed. Next is headrests and the nip and tuck on the back of the fold flat passenger seat. Had same ones in black, in my 2016 Sport, and after 5.5 years of use they still looked new. Wish I would have simply used a non fold flat version on the passenger seat because is a much easier install.

Still the best looking color for a Tacoma.

 

There must be alot of public land out west & in Canada to wheel on. I see alot of pics. posted up the mountains of people wheelin.
I'd love to have places like that close by.

 

Did the radiator and engine block coolant flush/fill today. Took 2.2 gallons of coolant. Will do rear differential tomorrow and then to the dealer for the 13 qt transmission service. That will wrap up the overdue maintenance on this 140k truck I bought.

there definitely is… you could explore the West Coast your whole life and not see it all… I’ve lived in Southern Oregon basically my whole life and I feel like I’ve just started to find all the good spots.

 

Differential oil changed today. For 140k miles I was shocked at how clean the old oil was. Now, except for dealer transmission service and finding wheels/tires, I can actually drive with peace of mind. Just don't understand how people drive 80k miles past their last recommended maintenance. Guy I bought it from was religious about synthetic oil changes but overlooked a lot of basic stuff. He was one of those "if it ain't broke don't fix it guys". Hopefully I can clean my tools and only use them for my Fords.

 

I would love to go out that direction in my lifetime but don't know if that will ever happen.

No Question is dumb IMO that's how you learn! It's a Bay Area Metal Fabrication Mount I bought used off of here. The reason I like it is the fact that it has a 3 point attachment to the bed. 3 Screw in points. Where the others have 2 point attachments. The bad is I don't think they make them anymore at least its not on their website that I can find. I hope you can find one. I wouldn't sell this one for $100.00. I even tried to make my own and it was close but not as good! Hit me up anytime. Take care!

Here's a better pic of the three screws. Put some industrial Velcro on each side where the tail gate closes. It will keep it from rubbing the paint while flexing. Like this. Also note the 3 point attachment.

 

I also have a BAMF mount like this, and like you said. I’m never going to sell mine. 3 point attachment is so much better than the 2 point attachment other companies make nowadays. I looked for a passenger side version (I honestly don’t even know if they even made that version) for a year with no luck.

 

You are correct I read a post on here last week (can't remember the thread) but it was directly from BAMF. They said they sold 300 drivers side to 1 passenger side mount. You can't find one! I only need a 2 point for the passenger side though as I'm only installing an led pod light on the tailgate for the misses at night to find her way around.
