If you remove the radiator you get more direct air flow to cool things down

Around 1.3m first gen Tacoma’s were built and I’d venture to guess less than a third are still on the road after frame buy backs/crushing, non warranty frames that are toast, and general accidents/mileage.

The factory radiator in the 1st gen Tacoma is made by Harrison.
    They make radiators for everything.

    Yeah, unfortunate for sure.
and that being said, when I replaced mine 4 years ago, i used some knockoff from a local Performance Radiator, and it's working just fine. It actually looked a bit stouter, bolted right up.

Will the Denso 2213138 fit a 2002 2.7 automatic as it is not listed under it on rockauto.

Rockauto also lists the DENSO 2213136 under 2002 V6 automatic.

Confused on which to order for my application.

Most manufacturers start discontinuing OE parts after 10 model years. It's good that Toyota hangs on a good bit longer on stuff.

Hell I was able to get a throttle cable straight from Toyota for my old 96 Camry in 2018. Nuts.

So I guess my question is which will be direct fit and have mounting holes line up correctly and clear everything?

I believe the taller one is for the auto trans.
I have the manual trans and replaced the radiator with the one for the auto and it still fit. Just sinks deeper into the front skid plate.

you realize this is a cult at this point. I don’t care about reality or “business”. I want my OEM ball joints in their beautiful OEM boxes until I croak

It is widely believed that 555 sankei is the OEM supplier, but it is actually Somic Ishikawa. But I doubt you can find these at your local autopart store

    4 run, 2 don't
Create a thread on the Jeep forum and blast the manufacturer for not keeping up with the limited demand! :bananadead:

Then proceed to belittle everyone that doesn't agree with you.
