You hit the nail on the head there. Pick the tastes you like from what’s available to eat. After all, if it don’t taste good, you’re not gonna eat it again. Does kinda throw a serious kink in my cook 3 days a week plan though, especially with my schedule.

lemme guess.... not available in Cananada?

GF is hard enough - if I can cut corners and get something premade-ish I'm all in!

I also try to do the cook every other day thing. Just too wiped out after work to give a damn so I end up eating junk. Try to cook healthy and have leftovers around.
But I just got back from a three week vacation and I love cooking in my camper. Not sure why because its harder to do - limited supplies, oven burns everything, hand washing all dishes, etc, etc - vs being at home. I ate so much better while I was on the road...

Course not. Likely no French label so get ‘em sent in like Chex.

I’ve read some things and seen some stuff, but are you in the camper fullish time?

edit: no assumptions and not enough info to make an educated guess

I wish but no, just a weekend camper. I had a bunch of vacation time to use up so I ran away from home for three weeks. It was amazing, I could get used to doing it full time no problem.

@MTgirl Do you use cast iron for everyday meals? So many great ways to “one pan” it and minimize the negativity of the stove

    at home or at camp?
i have a dutch oven that I love a lot - still experimenting with it but its been great. too big for the camper oven. and I have a skillet and I think its a fajita skillet (?) that i use for pizza - it has a handle but no walls and the Udi's GF pizza crusts fit perfectly on it. really only use them if im cooking outside over the fire though.
if you do IG overthefirecooking is amazing. whole account dedicated to cooking in cast iron over fires. they do some amazing stuff.

We use cast iron when camping, but I’ve started using it more for meal prep during the week. Cook the protein, cook the veggies, cook the noodles or rice, and mix it all together! Makes it easier when I don’t have access to running water for dishes — but also at home when I don’t want to do the dishes

Like this Southwestern goulash type thing. I make this at home quite a bit now because it’s so easy and doesn’t take 500 dishes

Cast iron cookery is an art all to itself. Such a versatile cookware you can use it for virtually anything. Just curious as to when the first Murder occurred. :)

A friend of mine gifted me these sauces and rubs.

The rubs state gluten free on them but the sauces don't say it. I've included the labels and it doesn't look like any gluten to me but I'll leave that up to you to decide.

it if actually did what its supposed to I'd go for it. maybe not an everyday sort of thing but it would be nice to eat out without fear. bucket list trip for me is to go to Italy - but given my diet restrictions, I'd probably be miserable or starving the entire trip!

So my partner keeps telling me about how Italy is actually one of the easiest places to eat GF. They apparently test kids for celiac at a young age and it’s a very culturally aware thing. No idea if it’s true or not, but it’s what she says haha.

that would be awesome. I love pasta - probably the hardest thing for me to transition to when I went GF - so if thats true i'd be eating pasta over there morning noon and night!
