today i got the part and installed it but it made no different, (maybe i did it wrong not sure).
when mu headlights are on i still see the amber light constantly being on and this is what i try to disable. Maybe i need to bend some of the pins inside the new plug? What i try to achieve is when the headlights are on that no other lights come on, so no permanent amber lights like the middle one and the corner light. I made some pictures because i think i did something wrong. please help

 

I'm stumped. Without the signal to ground of the green wire with red stripe on connector 1M the relay looses the ability to activate the DRL.
But what I see in your pictures are the Parking/Tail circuit that is ON. Is your vehicle a Canadian Model?

 

no i got this in Carlsbad, ca in 2015 and in the door jam it says made in Baja California (Mexico)
the lights are all off when i drive without light but all come on the second i turn the headlights on.

 

i did try without the 1M plug and yes all the amber lights when off but the blinker was super fast like a light bulb somewhere was bad.

 

That is the normal operation of the lights. The DRL is when you select the light switch to the first stop after OFF and you release the parking brake. The only lights that are ON are the TURN signals which have become the Day Time Running Lights.
The connector to these turn signals also has the Parking/Tail light circuit. This circuit is ON at the second position after OFF.

 

That would be a front turn or a rear turn bulb, another issue.

 

yes, but i will take the truck with me to germany and i need to somehow disable them in order to pass the TUV certification and to get it registered. They already told me i can't drive with the amber lights on when the car has the headlights on. its ok for them to be on when i am standing and use my parking lights but not while driving with lights on unfortunately the blinker needs to be yellow front and back...lucky for me they are. Maybe i can cut a wire the one that's feeding the permanent positive and just have them work when the blinker is activated.

Your side markers should not be an issue. You'd need to cut the feed (green wire) of the Parking/Tail circuit to the turn signals. De-pinning them and taping them up for later reinstall when you "return".

 

the tail lights don't stay on only the front mid blinker area and the corner ones.
what color do i take out tho and de-pin? sorry but with electrical Diagrams i am not at all familiar

Post a pic of your turn signal connector, it should have 3 wires. Green in position one is the one that needs to be removed.

 

If the light switch is on DRL no lights outside since there's no green n red wire.
If the light switch is on TAIL, front turn signals, front side markers, and rear side & tail should be ON.
If the light switch is on LOW beam, DRL are OFF, all other lights are ON.
Do a walk around the vehicle to verify the lights. Check front and back when selecting left turn, then right turn.

 

the 3 wire connection is from the middle and the 2 wire from the corner.

 

with this setting these lights are on with engine ON and parking brake OFF in neutral without holding the brake.

 

Green wire on the turn. The turn bulb is a dual filament type. One High (TURN & DRL) one low (Parking/Tail)
For the side marker, disconnect it and tape it up so the elements don't mess with it.
Do this before you leave. You risk a summons from your local Police.
