well, get after it! Place can use it! How's the alternate Taco going?

 

The burrito is doing alright. Drives well on the road, crawls stupid slow and has so much torque the oversized 4-wheel disc brakes can barely keep it from moving on level ground. I can't wait to get out and play with it. I do have to admit that I hate the extremely low overdrive-gearing the transmission has (.69:1). It's too low to use below 80 mph. So, on the highway, I'm either doing 65 mph at 3k RPM (which is what I've been doing) or 85+ around 2200 rpm (which I try to avoid). It also starts to lack decent horsepressures at the higher speeds so the engine and transmission will get a bit too warm for comfort. I ordered a trans cooler for it, which I'm hoping will help keep the temps down when using overdrive below 75 mph. I'm out doing rice pollination right now, once I get done here I'll install that cooler and see if I can't make a trip up to Hidden Falls to see how it does with the highway, the trails, and everything.

I put a Decked and a Pop&Lock on my bed. Worked out good, and put it in the Readers Digest of course. Debating if I can do the Add-a-Leaf install on my own while I wait for shocks. Enjoyed that little trail ride! Other than that, working on and around the house.

Oxford ranch is pet friendly

 

Just putting some feelers out there in case anyone here would be interested or knows somebody who would be interested in a set of Ironman 4x4 nitro-gas shocks & strut assemblies. About 12,000 miles on them.

Obviously I’d have to get new shocks & struts ordered and installed first before these would be off the truck. Just thought I’d see if anyone was in the market.
