haha yup. A bit ironic

 

We spent July 4th weekend at our family campground in central NH. Super wet and rainy, but we wanted to try out the new a-frame pop-up. It leaked a bit and I spent this weekend cleaning, scraping, sanding and re-sealing a bubble window.

 

First pics were Shenandoah Valley Campground in Verona, VA. Second pics are Green Ridge State Forest in Flintstone, MD.

Then you go up in elevation,

 

Mid April, took a trip up to Rim Country in Arizona, fished the creek, smoked some meet (can confirm, small pellet smokers can run off outlet in bed) crossed some water and just enjoyed the weekend.

OMG, you didn't spend 3k to 5k for a tiny RTT?, we ground camp too and we love it. Our GS pup can sleep with us, safe entry and exit...I threw that cash on an RSI Smart Cap Adventure instead !

 

I love our Gazelle T4 tent; but we have seen some cool dispersed sites that would be too small for my setup -RTT only. We’re comfy ground camping, especially on my old man air mattress cot.

 

Also have a Gazelle, the only thing I dislike about it is the lack of a vestibule to keep shoes dry incase of weather. I only have the T4 though, the bigger ones appear to solve this issue.

 

Also interested in hearing more about this tent. Roof appears to be flat though, not sure how that would hold up in rain.

 

True. I bought a couple of cheap door mats from Home Depot. 1 for outside & 1 for just inside the doorway. It’s made a big difference in keeping the tent floor cleaner.
