I got a 7.5” 300blk side charging upper for a suppressed build. I actually like the side charging, it’s pretty neat

This is my first AR, I decided to build it. Went with a PSA Lower with magpul grip and magpul stock. round Triger guard. BCA upper with feyachi iron sights and red dot. Cost a little over $600.

Have you tried the flat faced ones yet? I’m thinking about ordering one for the other rifle

Congrats on the first build, and I feel bad for your wallet now that you’re hooked. Thanks for exercising your second amendment right!

I've tried one out and I prefer the curved trigger better, but that just boils down to what you like better.

I put the flat MBT-2S in my bedside gun when I reworked it the other day, I absolutely love it.

I figure it’s worth a try. As you said it’s simply a personal preference thing

I’ll have to see how I like it but going to be on the back burner for a while. Saving for optics now. At least I figured out what I’m going to get that’s the biggest part of the battle for me. You have a nickle boron bcg in that one how do you like it?

I had a Geisselle SSA trigger in one of my older ARs and boy that there is a sweet shootin' trigger too. The MBT-2S edged the Geisselle out by a hair for me. The Larue is probably the best trigger you can buy for the money.

Oh I have been thoroughly impressed with the MBT-2s I have now with the curved trigger. I have not tried a Geisselle yet but the Larue feels great to me. I’ll order a strait one later he’ll I’d get one for the 9mm also but they don’t recommend changing the trigger

The SSA has a longer first stage to the wall, and a nice crisp break. The MBT has a shorter first stage and breaks like glass.

I just put that BCG in the upper the other day and only have about 50 rounds through it, I like that I can see it get dirty quickly but I haven’t wiped it off yet, I have a feeling it’ll be stupid easy to wipe though.

    Same crap everyone else got
When the bug bites, it bites hard. And judging by your truck you embrace the mod bug well. My first AR was a complete spikes lower on a complete spikes upper I bought separate. Now the only thing that is spikes on the rifle is the upper receiver and barrel. CH, BCG, GAS block, muzzle device, lower, trigger, stock, grips, sight, etc. Everything has been replaced over the years.
    Welcome to the worm hole.
