Mine get a LOT of water from the river, dog, us getting in and out after working with horses...they wash well and I have no stains.
My sons does have some stains but when he does his blacksmithing he is covered in coal/coke dust...but even his look good.

Have had the carhartt seatsavers on my truck since I bought it Feb. 2020. As others had said, follow the directions and wash them first. The fit is not as tight as the wet okoles I had on my 2nd gen previously. The trade-off in fitment is fine with me as it's easy to remove, wash, and re-install. My wet okoles were pretty disgusting after 7 years as I didn't want to deal with the hassle of taking them off to wash since they were a pain to install. I will say, my seats were like new when I removed them when I traded in that truck.

The carhartt covers are much more suited for hauling my dogs around. Dog hair is easy to vaccum compared to neoprene and harder to puncture. I still use one of those dog hammocks in the rear. I have washed the driver's side cover once, and the seat had no stains or other issues, so they appear to be holding up well. I used a wash-in Durable Water Repellent (Nikwax) and liquids bead up pretty well.

I've got the camo carhartts. They fit very similar as the pics shown here. Had them on since last september...their holding up well. Driver side went on very snug and took a bit of effort to pull/push it fully on. Passenger seat was a breeze...on in less than 20 minutes. I had to wait nearly one month before they were on my doorstep.

I had ordered the popular rough country ones, but damn still waiting on that ship time they were sold out everywhere. I have the black with cement center interior and I'm kind of neurotic when it comes to interior and I have a dirty job so I didn't want to mess up the nice grey color lol.

I'm sure you could increase the water repellency of the Carhartts by using the wash in product mentioned above or using a spray on Scotch Guard type product (which you can also use on the original seats).

Are these easy enough to take off and wash periodically? My dog is gross.

Very easy. I have 3 dogs that I take out pretty much daily. I do have a blanket over the passenger seat and one of those hammock covers in the rear. Seat covers for my seat covers.

I have the seat savers for the front seats. I washed them and put them in the dryer before putting them on. I’ve had them for about 3 months and really like them so far.

OP, consider Bartact. They are the best on the market right now.

Yes. I had picked another fabric, but were out of stock so went with Scottsdale/Silver.
Everything in the cab is black, which shows every tiny fiber of any thing.
Also going to order gray floor mats (the Black weather techs also just look dirty all the time)

These are the best seat covers you can get. Had them in my Jeep’s and beat the piss out them. Still looked new when I sold them. Gonna order some for the taco

Not sure about Amazon. These are the "precision fit" ones. I ordered on the official carhartt website due to a lot of fraudulent stuff being sold as genuine on Amazon. These are custom made and it took about 2 months to get them. I doubt amazon has genuine ones.

Yep, waterproof and more durable than anything I've seen. Mine look like new three years later, and that's alot of mud, sweat and dog hair they have had to endure. I'm sure the Carhartt are nice but they are not even waterproof and just a couple colors. And I like the Molle straps that are sewn on for hanging flashlights and knives plus the pockets are nice for hiding things.
