Icon wheels and Tpms issues -help!

I GOT THE ICON REBOUND ON MY 2018 TRD SPORT TACOMA, they are great but the TPMS sensors could not fit with Icon's -does ANYONE HAS A SOLUTION FOR IT YET?

Then buy sensors that will fit those wheels.

 

there are many sensors that fit those wheels but won't work with Toyotas, only OEM sensors do.
I went yesterday to 4 wheel drive shop and that's what they told me so I am researching for a solution!

 

What does ICON say?

 

I am calling them today!

 

Get the Autel sensors. They’ll fit the wheels and you can clone them to your stock ones
So you don’t have to reprogram the truck

I just run em' I don't need no stinking TPMS.

Do you really need a little electronic device that tells you your tire pressure?

That little blinking light don't bother me at all.

 

FWIW. The TPMS system's purpose is not to tell you the tire pressure.

It's purpose is to WARN you of a sudden PRESSURE LOSS when driving.....as in nail in tire, blow out.....etc. The WARNING will give you a little time to make a controlled stop of the vehicle

The TPMS came about as a result of a series of fatal accidents in Ford SUV (Explorer, IIRC).

Fair, but with the 3G's ability to tell you pressure at each corner, it's an excellent data point to have. I use it to keep an eye on my cold pressure versus warm to make sure everything is even. I don't want a ding when I'm about to crash, I want a data point to look at each morning before I back out of my driveway.
