I really badly want to just buy some calls wayyy out for PSFE PLTR and ASO. But my play account took a massive hit so once I build it back up and have more funds to work with maybe I’ll do that.

Most of my negative P/L right now is from GME and AMC, and the EV car companies too since chip shortage

Cciv and nio have been sideways and down lately
    But long play wise
We know that they will end up being similar in value to Tesla so it’s a hold for me
    But
Still sucks to see the negative on it just dig deeper as the market gets closer to popping

My claim to fame is getting into CCIV at 14 and out at 59.5x

I don’t know I believe in them that much to be honest with you. NIO I can definitely get behind though. I feel like Licid is targeting too small of a market currently.

Cool CTXR. Going back down to that cost basis I see.

    My braindead ideas:

Chip shortages will come to a screeching halt one day.

Point being - the automotive industry is a miniscule amount of the chip demand, and probably near the top priority for suppliers (ASD -> Medical -> Automotive is the usual hierarchy).

So when the factories are up and pumping them out, they're going into the auto industry and flooding it, quick and fast. So cars will probably come down in cost hard and fast. When? I'm not sure exactly. Could be next few months, could be next year. That I haven't really gotten into myself. But I'm not in automotive stonks so :notsure: not my circus not my monkeys.

yea, i think COVID related supply chain issues, including prev admin tariffs (forced supply chain migration away from china, plus just general increase in prices of raw materials and goods).
big question: transitory? does FED raise rates?
COVID = transitory, like chips, lumber, etc; also people saved money during lockdowns, wanna spend money now...supply chain issues means you can't buy goods as freely -> increase in prices...also how much money did we just print? also hugely inflationary.
Raising rates will crash the whole system.

if i buy a house today, am i fucking myself?
    haha that's my real question
