Doesn't the Tundra have this as well? Why can't we?

Maybe because of the storage behind the rear seats? :notsure:

I for one would gladly trade that storage to roll the back glass down. Maybe they're working on it for 4th gen.

Mine came with the Lane Departure Alert. Driving in the city, it would beep constantly. I think I turned it off the second day I had the truck.
I sure hope Toyota is listening. If it can be done, it should be done -- like, yesterday!

The Honda LKAS stuff guides towards the center of the lane. Helps a lot on wide freeways with lots of traffic moving at different speeds to keep the best possible buffers. Kind of like putting the bumpers up at the bowling alley. Not really "self driving" and can be easily turned on/off. Great for long drives.

I removed the headrests from the back seat. Nobody back there but the dog anyways :)

I'm with you on that, and there should be a light in the console box as well. Have them so they turn on automatically when the lid is opened.

My 2000 Ford Ranger lacked a glove box light, but I discovered that the previous years' Rangers had them, and they were eliminated for cost savings. I made a trip to the junkyard, and located everything I needed to retrofit the light. Perhaps something similar can be done with the Tacoma.

It should come with a CD player, and rear discs. And a device that allows you to use compact discs for braking if you want to. Or listen to your rear discs through the stereo. Also a record player.

My tailgate lock is redundant, because I have a locking camper shell.

Hm, I’m the opposite. I would prefer the storage. The storage behind my seats is filed with recovery gear, air compressor, tools etc.

When I open all 4 windows, sunroof and the rear glass it’s good enough for me.

I wonder how those hold up, maybe i'm an odd ball, but just give me a single pane of back glass with a defroster. That little power slider one can't even throw their empty beer cans out that thing.

I'd be so worried i'd put a bike fork or a piece of firewood thru the back glass. They don't look cheap and I rarely see Tundras around here with them rolled down.

2 to 3 more inches of head room would be good. Are there any hi top conversions for the Tacoma?
