It *does* look like protective film bubbling hence my initial comment "just peel it off."

Maybe try in a corner with an Xacto to completely rule it out?

Definitely looks like liquid got behind it, not the trucks fault

I agree, some type of fluid got on the screen. There is a splatter pattern bottom left. (Based on my excessive law & order episodes) Large drop bottom left with splatter out to the top and right, top and right. Same fluid probably got in between lens and housing.

Toxic as hell! Avoid at all costs! If misplaced might cause 18 years of financial ruin!

Okay...Maybe it wasn't a $7.00 macchiato. Maybe it came from the mess hall. I mean "dining facility"

If you zoom in on the pic you can see it slightly on the heated seat button on the left. If it were soda or something acidic can do that. We towed customers cars in at the dealership and saw this occasionally and almost all the time was caused by a drink of some sort.

I think the splatter may be a “beverage” that shall remain nameless. I doubt that is what got in the glass if anything did. I have now wiped that all off but the glass still looks the same.

Way back in the day Armor All use to discolor clear plastics. I don't know if it still does, because I don't use it.
