Yeah, there's a microphone on the camera and there's a speaker on the in-cab display.

No, our typical parking job is she gets out and stands where she wants the door of the camper, I back in and put the door right in front of where she's standing. We didn't do well when she was trying to give directions. She doesn't seem to get the concept of if she can't see my face in the truck mirror, I can't see her. Also, she doesn't use 'driver and passenger' but uses left and right and swaps them around. Fortunately, I can back up a trailer pretty well so I generally don't need a lot of guidance.

I got an email from Ford out of the blue - it says they're giving me 50,000 points because their records show I visited a dealer multiple times for the same issue (has to be due to my camera saga). If I remember correctly, the points are worth half a cent each so that's $250. OEM Wheel well liners and window deflectors conveniently add up to about that price. Either that or I can blow it all on a carbon fiber shift handle!

Could be like my cousin. He just got a new F150. Has that fold-flat shift lever thing but .... doesn't have the center console table that makes it useful to have

It was funny - took me wayyyy too long last time I saw him to realize that his truck was now blue, when it used to be red.

Oh, definitely the carbon shift lever! Go for that! Much wow, so bling!

Yeah I have 22 thousand points that I got when I bought my truck. I'm just saving it for when I need service or something goes bad that my warranty doesn't cover, I'll be slightly less pissed off about it!

I can see the rear wheel liners because they close off the gap between the frame and the bed but the front liners seem pointless. Take a look at the low profile window covers, I think AVS makes them. They look slick. I'm going to hold out for a set of those.

It does match the rest of the carbon fiber trim that my truck came with! Be careful of those points - I think they expire after so long if the account is inactive (no new points accrued and none used).

Yup, I'm just talking about the rears. My truck basically had front liners from the factory. For vent visors Ford sells the low profile, in channel, and normal stick on. I have typically gone with in channel but I've heard a lot of situations where those don't play nicely with the window controls on these trucks so I figured I'd play it safe and go stick on. Not sure if the low profile is in channel or stick on, I'll have to look.

I bet you have the same front liners that I do, but Ford makes another plastic set that covers the carpet-y stuff that people have bought. I'm fine with the carpet-like ones, no idea why you'd want more layers but people buy them...

I had in-channel on one of my other Super Duties and it didn't play well. The channel was really tight and would sometimes make the window go back down when trying to close. The low profile ones I'm talking about are stick on and they go to the rear of the front door pillar and the rear door one starts right at the front of the pillar. Gives a nice, clean line across both doors (at least for the crew cab, I could be way off base for the super cab)

You are correct, they're stick-on, and that's exactly what I heard about the in channels. They're $20 more than the standard vent visors, but they do look nicer.

Amazon combined the reviews for in channel vs low profile vs standard, but some SuperCab pictures are here and it looks like it's similar to the crew cab. There's a picture of a white Lariat with them: https://smile.amazon.com/Auto-Vents...BVL3Q89?sa-no-redirect=1&th=1#customerReviews

Well, apparently I didn’t do a thing... back up camera doesn’t work. I tested it all with truck power yesterday, didn’t confirm the ‘prewired’ connection is actually correct. Once again, RV initial build quality has turned out to be complete shit, no power to the camera. I’ll have to dig into that mess at some point. Wire’s connected to something, it won’t pull all the way out, just have no idea what. Tried truck and camper lights on, truck in reverse and even went in and turned on everything inside the camper, just in case, no power to the camera.

I've met him once early 2014 or 2015 when he flew out to Phx and went camping with the AZ guys.

We didn't cuddle as he had a girl with him he was dating at the time. She was a joke and glad she's out of his life. He may have had some bromance with a few others though.

    What's happening N.E. Ford BS'ers?

I don't understand why RV's are such crap.. my boss bought a half a million dollar Tiffen diesel pusher brand new and he's had all sorts of issues. Same thing with his last RV, a 40' fifth wheel that cost over 100k. His chassis AC doesn't work that well, so if it's hot he has to use the rooftop units to cool the interior while he drives. Some of the touch screen panels that control just about everything inside didn't work and the quality of the finishes in my opinion is absolute junk. It also came to him filthy.. you'd think you are spending $500k it would come to you perfect. I can tell you if I spent a half million on a boat it would be perfect. Even a new house. But RV's just seem to be crap for build quality.
