    What's happening N.E. Ford BS'ers?

I don't understand why RV's are such crap.. my boss bought a half a million dollar Tiffen diesel pusher brand new and he's had all sorts of issues. Same thing with his last RV, a 40' fifth wheel that cost over 100k. His chassis AC doesn't work that well, so if it's hot he has to use the rooftop units to cool the interior while he drives. Some of the touch screen panels that control just about everything inside didn't work and the quality of the finishes in my opinion is absolute junk. It also came to him filthy.. you'd think you are spending $500k it would come to you perfect. I can tell you if I spent a half million on a boat it would be perfect. Even a new house. But RV's just seem to be crap for build quality.

Same as limos. They're built the cheapest way possible usually by people with a limited passing knowledge. There are some good ones out there, but a lot of them are something an intern would be proud of.

 nice. I haven't lift/wheels/tires/bumpers the tacoma, if and when I do I'm sure I'll land there. Hybrid or NA? Did they put a turbo version out there? I want an Taurus SHO but I know I can't trust myself with that baby.

As much as the TW forms are all "what wheels tires lift should I get", the side bits are better than the F150 forum of "what baby stroller should I get?"

Planning to take the LC on vacation down to Myrtle Beach area in 2 weeks, and wouldn't you know it suddenly sprouts an exhaust leak few days ago. In cab the sound is fine, but outside it sounds like an old pickup. Haven't had a chance to figure out exactly where it is, but it's somewhere up front on the drivers side. At least I know it's not the 02 sensors since I just replaced all 4 relatively recently. I'm hoping it's just a small rust hole somewhere i can clamp an aluminum can or something similarly ghetto over for the time being. :bananadead:

Sounds like you just have a cool sounding truck that might make you sleepy now!

Cool beans. I am planning to head that way in the winter, Jan/Feb timeframe, for a week or so. It's 14 hours to Charleston, so there's a chance I bomb down the coast after work one night for a long weekend or something and get some heat.

The people on the land behind my house were living out of their RVs and campers for 7 weeks by the time they left. Based on the last thing the town told me, I think the zoning officer sent a cease and desist and the landowner told them he wasn't going to bat for them and that had to leave. Apparently one group lost their house and was living out of the camper - gee, maybe if they hadn't blown their money on a $55k camper they'd still have a house.

Glad you got some resolution on that one. Saw some long term set ups out west on BLM lands by Joshua Tree when I was out there. Lack of enforcement out there.

I have the 4cyl ecoboost motor - it's also AWD so that was the only reason why I bought it. I use the fusions as rentals for travel and beat the piss out of them and they do pretty good. It's not a power horse but it does fine for commuting.

It's at my folks place as a backup car for the family... currently parked next to the evo which is also now a paperweight that I need to move up to NH soon before more rodents move into the engine bay. And sadly the truck is now a paperweight until I get the rear shocks back from King Shocks

I tried to have a polite but stern conversation with them at one point and they only made it clear they didn't care about being a nuisance to the neighborhood they were setup in. I wouldn't normally say this about someone I don't know but they were clearly not intelligent people. With every step the neighbors (who were more relentless than me) or I took, their behavior got worse. They did themselves no favors.

I've been quiet for a while, just cruising along up here in the mountains. Getting excited for some truck stuff though, I got the BP51 shocks installed a few weeks ago, and just pulled the trigger on a set of Hammer Hangers as well as some more mundane brake kits F&R. Got some good garage time on deck. :sawzall:

Thinking about getting the hammer hangers with the cross bar as well - let me know how that install goes!
