Hah, I do that too. I drive my truck around the mountain like it's Gran Turismo. People like to come up flyin' on my ass on the straightaway, but I lose them in the corners. It's comical (to me anyways, I'm easily amused...).

If I get a good drop and am in 3rd or 4th in the band, I can do OK in the straight bits as well. But MT, 4.88's and OVT - no complaints. But those RPM's.....itsa truck.......you know......

We are like driving brothers. hahahahahahaha

There's two different mountains out of town depending on the direction. One you can get a pretty good running start, the other one I struggle a little bit. I hate to wind'er out every time on the one so I kinda just putz around a little bit on that one. Sometimes I'll get behind a semi and just know that I ain't got the ass to pass it in the room I have. Oh well, it's a truck. I make it a game every time to get that "perfect line" on the curves. I do have to remind myself sometimes it's not the GTI

Just had to put brakes on the Camry at low miles due to my shenanigans

I plan on buying one after my Tacoma is paid off. I’m going to mod the Taco with 35” tires, high clearance bumpers, kings, etc. I’ll probably be getting 12mpg and drive a 4Runner as my daily.

Isn’t mine but this is about what I want out of a 4R

Just a few things. Hard bed cover, a few decals, TRD Pro grille with raptor lights. Little stuff, Ejection Seats
    I don't see a 4Runner?

To be brutally honest, I do like it, but I don’t love it.

After thinking about it, I think I should rephrase that. I do love it as it is now, but it took quite a bit of time, money and effort to get it there. I don’t love it as it came from the factory.

12 is wishful thinking there bud. I've got 35's, 5.29's, tuned for both. Get about 200ish miles per tank (freeway) driving pretty conservatively.

Based off of my friends builds I’ll get around 10 to 12 mpg. Either way Tacoma will be a dedicated off roader. Also I’m not carrying a bunch of camping stuff, roof top tents, etc

I get 310-320 miles with those (not even tuned). And I drive the speed limit always. Looks like you have a lot of stuff up on the roof of your truck.

LOL yea I took it all off at the end of last summer. Truck is sitting a little high so that definitely has an impact

They could also use the non turbo version of the V35A that the Tundra will likely get. Or like you said a twin turbo A25A

Might be getting too old for this.
One of the roads I take home from work is about 12 miles of dirt with a 10 mile stretch of pavement inbetween. It's always the guys with late model domestics speeding up to me on the hardball. I drive maybe 10 miles over the limit because it's frequented by cops. Once we hit that second section of dirt I like to leave them behind. There are curves but I'm averaging 80-85 on the straightaways. The cops are never on the dirt and I refuse to eat dust from people either too afraid to speed or get dirty.
