    Forgot to check if it had power windows and locks, but from what I’ve seen in my day to day life, well-equipped 2.7L 6-lug access cabs with the SR5 trim are not that common; Also forgot to check if it was a stick shift or not…

    That's what mine is, 2.7L 5-speed SR5 with power locks and windows. You're right the 4-bangers are typically equipped with less options.

    Back in 2009 when my dad bought the truck that is now mine, we were also looking at new Ford Rangers.

    McCafferty Ford (I think that was the name of the dealer; Fred Beans bought it out) had this red 2009 Ford Ranger XLT regular cab short bed 2WD that was like a special order that someone backed out of the deal on. It had the base 2.3L 4-banger and option 5-speed automatic transmission; It was also fully loaded. It had A/C, cruise, tilt, power windows, power locks, and an AM/FM stereo with a CD player and an AUX input! It also had the rubberized flooring if I remember correctly. The sticker was close to $20K and the Ford dealer was stubborn about going that far below it, so we walked; I’m glad I ended up with a Tacoma, but that was a sweet truck!
