    Traded it in.

I have no regrets at all. I have a Gator Trifold. It's on the cheaper side, but have had no issues for over a yr now. It will keep your things out of the weather and eye sight for sure, but really has no security as a pocket knife would cut through it.

not entirely regretful for buying it. it has been useful for protecting gear and groceries when traveling. however, after getting rear ended and the tailgate being stuck shut, i think a shell might be an option i'm going to look into so that the bed isn't inaccessible when the tailgate is in a locked position.

Not placebo IMO- the material is thicker than stock cloth so that’s the plush. It does feel better

I enjoy my G2 bakflip. Does leak a little but could be due to poor installation by yours truly. Solidly built and very low profile. It is on the more expense end and Im sure there are cheaper options that will provide the same security.

I purchased this tri-fold soft tonneau a few years ago. It has worked well. If I need to remove it only takes a few minutes and the same with the Billiebars. I also got the tailgate locking system from KTJO shortly after the tonneau purchase.

Thanks guys. @Frsh2df that is really nice!

I like the idea of ease of removing too. I'll look at that extang and gator that have been mentioned.

    Y'all have a good one.

Edit: thanks for the other recommendations too.

No regrets at all. I have a retrax cover that locks and has tracks to mount accessories. Slides in and out to no issues with hitting anything.

Truck came with it and while I generally could take or leave it, occasionally being able to lock up stuff in the back was a big plus. Lots of meth heads stealing anything not bolted down around here...

'Bout 99.99% sure I'm going this route. I've been addicted to seeing some builds with these little things.

Yeah I started off with a tonneau cover and a bed rack and rtt. Got tired of having to shimmy under it all to get things out the bed since the tonneau wouldn’t open.

Sold it all and got the shell, and got a killer deal on the trailer about a month ago.

I liked both set ups, but wished I just went with the shell from the get go.

Drove it in the woods (Allegheny National Forest). Got into a pretty dicey situation climbing a narrow and rutted out path in the mud. One side was a steep hill into water, the other a rocky woodland cliff. KO2 + rear locker and A-Trac really came through. 20210714_183831.jpg

Only regret I have is getting the factory one as to use the whole bed for something high you need to totally remove it which is a pain and inconvenient if your'e out somewhere. Will definitely be looking at replacing at some point with a BAKflip or Lomax.

Adding my tonneau cover (Lomax) was one of the first mods I did 3yrs ago and I definitely have no regrets.
The first time you go on a trip of any kind you'll appreciate it!

    wanna be mods
Well nearly 6 months and a shoulder and wrist surgery later...I got the coilovers off to add preload (had added SSO slimline stage 1&2 and a 10k winch) to regain the lift obtained when the Elka 2.5 DSCs were installed. Also added gusseted spindles, cut the leg tabs of the BAMF FBRB to mate up with the frame end caps and bumper...now to prime and paint, then install them.

    Full write up
