As said previously, I think you've got a solid combo having both in the household. Its what me and Mrs. are striving for.

I don’t know. I kinda see it both ways in that people just like to muse about things they’d like but on the other hand people also bitch endlessly about stupid shit. I guess it all comes down to context and intent…

Actually I really like my Tacoma. In fact I said so in the thread title. There is not a single truck I would rather have.

Whenever my wife sits in the passenger seat it makes a noise and then the cabin smells funny. She assures me she is as puzzled as I am.

Actually, I don't expect my Tacoma to do any of those things. You sure read a lot into my post. I was just pointing out that the wife's 4Runner was more comfortable.

And I hope you really enjoy your new AT4.

I agree with everything you said. And I do have a trailer for hauling bigger/dirtier stuff. But the truck is so damn convenient for the 95% of the time I can just throw it in the bed.

Seats in Tacoma decent? Ergonomically they are probably the worst seats on sale of any vehicle today, or close to it.

Are you sure? I could be wrong but I thought the 2022 4Runner Sport has a scoop.

TRD Pro and the venture series have the scoop, those are variants of the OR, no real difference there.

People must all have different asses because mine are very comfortable. We always take the Tacoma on long trips vs the rav because it’s very comfortable. Go figure.

You bought a truck. If you wanted luxury, quiet ride and comfort you made a bad decision buying a Tacoma.

You are right it changed for the 2022. Before that it was always the off road and the pro that rocked the scoop.

I actually like them ergonomically. (I’m 6’1”). I just don’t like how they’re padded. I had to buy a seat cushion.

X2. Taco seats fit me like a glove, super comfortable on long trips.
