Looking good. So, that level of detail is not much heartache on your side?

I currently have my Mandalorian/baby yoda toy shift knob, but man it's just fun to hold a perfectly round knob over stock. Commenting so I see a notifier when new ones come out. Rock on everyone

I can attest to that. Mr @7r41lbr34k3r 's excellent work from a long time ago:

I have driven other Tacos with Rick's knobs and they feel amazing also.

Probably not. Even something like this looks not too bad, time-wise ... but deburring it might prove to be a challenge.

Raise up a disc of material, and cut around the T.

Received and easily installed with shims included. Hole punch works great for the shims. Very pleased. Was worth the wait. Rick does not disappoint. Tks.

Posting up measurements from my 2020 SR radio, entune 3 I think. Probably not exact but should let you know if it's the same as other head units

Are you a picker? Those look like strat knobs. I had the idea to try some guitar knobs for mine but haven't gotten around to seeing if it would work. I would love a couple Fender witch hat knobs over the tiny stock knobs! Did those pop right on?

I wish I could play, but I have no talent there.

Yes, though. They are Fender knobs that someone posted about:
    https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B010ODJCIS

They will snap on, which is how I tested them. Once I was happy, I did add some CA glue to make them permanent.

I am tenting for the Ti knobs though.

I'll pretend I didn't hear that first part!

The CA glue sounds like a bold move, but I'll be trying whatever spare knobs I have in my parts bin tonight. I'm glad I happen to stop by this thread, thanks!

    You're welcome!

I enjoy the results, just can't produce. Can't dance or tap my toes either.

The glue was no big deal. I had them on for a week before I fully committed.

BTW, here's a pic of the back side. You can see the glue line.

Give me enough gin at a wedding, and I'll figure out a way to tap dance!

This answers questions I didn't know I had. You glued the knobs to the interface piece, not the pot's shaft itself. That's why I was surprised to hear you say you glued them!

Yeah! The ones that were recommended fit perfectly on the stock plastic knobs. One snapped on hard and probably didn't need glue. The other held on nicely but would come off if bumped.

I'm sure that you would have noticed that when you tried out this trick.

Finally installed mine. Looks great. My shimming went from advanced calculate to “I wonder if a banana peel would work.”
