    Hello,

I am looking to buy a Tacoma that will last me until 2025. What’s the cheapest price I should pay and what year should I be looking for?

Honestly, my man, there are too many variables at play here. Maybe start with a budget? If you only need a truck to last 4 years and that's your only requirement, just get the cheapest one you can find.

I’d probably be looking to spend like 7000. Would that be feasible?

    Welcome to TacomaWorld
7k will get you a 1st gen 5 lug in great shape or clapped out 4x4 1st gen to work on.
Hope you're handy with tools and already have a well stocked toolbox.

Yeah, you may have to look a little bit, but that's feasible for a 2WD 1st gen. But if you just need a truck for a few years, you really ought to look at the Frontier. You can probably get more truck for money.

Prolly some decent mid 2000s Colorado's in that range. I liked mine, and it looked like a truck.

Do a short term lease on one. We just leased one for our son who is in high school.
Looked to buy but with the resale value on these things it was a better deal for us since he will be going off to college in 2 years. There is no dealing on them in my area at all.
People are putting deposits down on incoming units.
