Also, do you guys all remember what happened with OSTK?

They were being shorted to death and then they announced a crypto dividend on 5/29 and the stock went from around $16.54 to $128.32 a few months later. (still looking to see when it was actually issued.

If you look at the OBV, it looks like it stayed high after the runup, very similar to GME after January. I'd venture to guess OSTK is still being heavily manipulated.

I did. I bought some Wednesday I was trying to average down. Had I not bought in the 200-210 range I’d be free if any negative shares.

Yeah, I THINK they broke the blockchain dividend cherry...Basically as we all might know, prevents shenanigans and you MUST have records of share ownership because the dividend can't be moved around...

my long term bet on XOM is doing good. Not great. past couple weeks have put a spear in that one, my thought was by this time we'd be close to or at 70, and I think if it wasn't for the past couple weeks and I think Δ, I'd be cashed out at my exit point. But, every time I modify any goals on XOM, I get burned, so superstition reigns high now on that one - I am not exiting or touching it or doing anything until it reaches 70, and then hitting a stop loss.

 

Hoping the rest of us have to ride GTii down for you? Not cool man.

Please explain to me why this call is flagged as "In the money" and will exercise at close today..
It's a Non-standard Aphria call that is now converted to a $TLRY call...
It was the right to buy 100 shares of $APHR @$13 a share on 7/16/21.
$APHR and $TLRY merger....Every share of $APHR gets 0.83 shares of $TLRY...
SO NOW I get 83 shares of $TLRY for $1300....
That means $TLRY must be trading at... 1300/83= $15.66
$TLRY is trading at $14.40...that's 83x14.40=$1195.20
These are out of the money by $1300-1195.20=$104.80
So why does TD say they are in the money?


Baffled...I don't want this exercising...and there's zero volume because nobody is buying these non-standards...

 

You're forgetting. It was me that sold. So it's going up to 2.50 today now.

Maybe just a programming runabout. TD isn't great for that, there have been a few.

If GME does the same thing it's going to be wild. I was just speaking with a friend about it, and I remembered the whole 4.1 Fidelity users in Q1 thing.

All those NEW users would only need to own like 9.75 shares if the free float was a conservative 40m.

He said it's just the web interface being unable to handle the non standard. To look at Think or Swim which does indeed show it out of the money.
