my insurance guy is A+ and is constantly going on about these car dealers that don't know shit. He's luckily a strong point as the dealer tries to play games about they can't give me without insurance and he just types letters up telling them I'm covered give it to me. I gave a dealer a cashiers check for my telluride we bought a few months ago, full price paid. They made me wait 3 days to get the car!!!

I guess they had an employee giving fake cashiers checks and getting titles and stole over 1 million? I don't even know how that works.

All I know is, when I text, email and leave a vm about a question, you don't reply for a full day and when I do talk to you, you say you haven't been busy.... Its disgusting.

Congratulations! That's a good looking truck. I'm excited to see the '22 Tundra.

It doesn't help that so many of our local dealers are especially bad.

i wasn’t in love with the pro version they have showed, looks to big and like a super duty. this is a double cab with the 6.5 bed.

the dealer hasn’t been horrible i just feel like communication is poor. they’ve been straight up and not tried to screw me at all. just slower than i like. signed everything and driving home, they are sending runners to the rmv and if nothing bad happens i should have it in a few hours

When the current Tundra came out in 07, it was bigger than anything else and they all caught up. I'm a little afraid they're doing that again. I liked the size of the original Tundra, a little bigger than a Tacoma but not quite as obnoxious as today's full sizes.

I agree 100% and that fact isn't a good sign! They need to do the maverick with a 6 foot bed, and BAM best truck in existence. Obviously not for bigger jobs, but for the tradesman and everyday truck.

i’m not interest in new model years. I like the idea that I could buy a new truck without stop/start and a bunch of other bullshit. they did add all the tss crap tho.

Don’t work Wednesday sounds like the sales person wanted the day off and didn’t want to do a split deal.

I’m surprised you found one in stock. Haven’t seen one in a awhile. At one point we were down to 7 new cars out of our usual 120+. Everything coming in is already sold.

I was honestly shocked too. It was there for like a week! And they didn't mark it up? Had to go grab it!

That's what I am excited for.

I put on too many miles to deal with the existing Tundra's MPG and that's the primary thing that pushed me to Ford. If they go that route it would mean a strong efficient powertrain like I love in my F150 with the improved QA and fit and finish of a Toyota!

Making progress! Might have found a similar truck, except DCSB (which is fine with me) and more miles (boo!). Also 2011. But no mention of frame recall in the carfax report. Is that just the access cab? Or does that mean it was already dealt with? I thought it was all the 2nd gen Tacomas that were included in the recall. Hmmmm. Off to Google I go, but if anyone has commentary I’m interested.

PS better to be humid as sh*t or actually raining? I’m not sure I know, anymore.
