Picked the HF rivnut tool up. Never used one, but they're pretty neato. I hate tapping holes, so this will be a good work around for some smaller fasteners. Also looking forward to using it, with some custom brackets, to mount my trans cooler to avoid those zip tie things that go through the radiator.

Looks nice. In hindsight I wish I had gone with a smaller 10" one. HF didn't sell them when I bought mine 16" is pretty long to fit underneath vehicles.

 

Thats a good point that I didn't think about. the shorter handles didn't seem to impede my ability to squish down the m8 one I tested

 

Wow, this grease gun is amazing as well as the lockNlube tip, so damn easy. It's overkill but I'll actually stay on top of my greasing duties now.

 

Love that LockNLube tip. Everyone says it's not needed but it so easy to use I don't care.

I have this cart too, really have liked it! Power strip has been key. I also did a couple mods-...someplace I read about the part numbers for larger rolling castor wheels so I swapped the ones that came with it to those. So now they all roll and swivel making it easier to move around the shop. I also added a 12" wide side car in place of that shelf. Gave me a bunch more drawers.

My only complaint about this box is I tend to use the top surface as a work bench for shit....in which case getting in to the top is a real pain in the ass. If I had to do it over I would just do all drawers and no lifting lid.

 

Thanks. It's amazing what this cart will hold. But, I'd like to add a hanging side box also. I keep watching various sites for a used SnapOn, but not having much luck. What side box did you get?
The top is a great work surface with the rubber section on top. But, it tends to be an easy spot just to leave stuff so it's usually pretty cluttered. Now in my new house.

 

I really agree about the top. Not that another box is in my plans, but I wouldnt buy one with a lifting lid again...

So my question whenever I see those speckly floors: is it hard when you drop a small washer or bolt or nut or something to see it contrasting against that?
