    Haha, caught me!!

Man I feel like an idiot, I read this part, but didn't realize it.

So let me get this right, sorry my Cognitive thinking is really off today!! You paddle from Tenn into Ky, so you're paddling north??

Here's a map from Leatherwood Ford to Blue Heron. I marked the route in bright red.

hehehe i almost caught my self on fire! hahaha well it seems that when the fuel bottle is full it works fine but when it is only half empty it constantly goes out if i set it on its side like the directions state. Is this normal? or are you supposed to be able to run the bottles dry? should i make a longer fuel hose on the pump? im just frustrated cause my 11oz fuel bottle on works untill its half empty so its more like a 5 oz fuel bottle

Warned you about that fireball! hahaha!

Try to pump the bottle up a little more. If that does not work, I am wondering if the pump inside is resting above the fuel?

I have not had this issue.

I have a Whisperlite and dislike it because of the heat up time and the huge flame that it makes while doing it.

Study the route. depending on the water level you can get yourself in trouble quickly if your not paying attention. There is one portage about a 1/4 mile down river from leatherwood, this one is mandatory. the other portage is defiantly "water level" dependent. We ran the chute you see in the pics above, if the water was flowing much higher it would have been pretty hairy with loaded boats.
