Is that metal thing at the top of the suspension a spacer? Just bought the truck.

Thanks. This type of lift is bad for the truck, right?

If not off-roading hard IMO you will be fine

Is that on both sides or just driver?
If just driver then its a 1/4 or so spacer to take care of the taco lean

as long as your not flying the truck over 50 foot jumps you'll be fine...

Yea I don't think a small spacer will hurt anything, how does it ride? Post a side shot of the truck!

Now i'm trying to figure out if it's just the 1/2" spacers up front or if it has something in the back? AAL? Sorry I'm such a noob... Also, the driver's side coilover seems to be way more compressed, with the rubber at the top showing that and the coil touching itself. Is this an issue? Thanks guys...IMG_2120.HEIC.jpg IMG_2121.HEIC.jpg IMG_2124.HEIC.jpg

Congrats! I think you did very well.

The rear looks stock, my driver side bushing is slightly more compressed than the passenger side and I think it's due to more weight from the factory on that side. From the pictures I don't see anything worth worrying about with the bushings and you have roughly the same number of threads showing on the top of the strut so that's good.

Thanks! I'm really stoked on the truck. I used to have a '13 offroad access cab manual, and this thing blows that truck out of the water in every way. I totally freaked out this morning when I realized it had spacers, but after more research it seems like they're small enough that they're not messing anything up...in a year I do plan on doing a full suspension upgrade but should be good til then.
