Is this about the greasable bolts? Tell them you will need compensation for having to redo the install haha

Yeah... I've been going back and forth via email and phone with Dobinson's USA. Fortunately the truck has been together and functional with the OEM bolts... If the greasable bolts won't work, then it was pointless to spend ~$100 extra for greasable bushings and bolts.

I believe I had this same issue with mine and said f-it, put the oem ones in. Didn't bother chasing Dobinsons about it as I was rushing a bunch of other build items around that time and have since forgotten about it.

a guy on my block claims he used to do them for "Hells Angels" and said he could hook it up. He also thinks his house is haunted among other things. I guess he finally made amends with his wife's boyfriend and got to move back in recently.

@JasonLee I ended up ordering a new Shimano Cassette and chain from REI. Brand name 8 speed options are pretty limited and they were the only place that had them in stock. I would definitely shred an Amazon cassette.

I just need this bike to last one more season and the new market will go back to normal.. right? the market will go back to normal, right?

My friend who owns his own bike company told me recently that he's putting in orders for 2023 fulfillment. That's excluding the logistics and timing of ocean-bound cargo and ports.

If you see something you need or want or may need, you should probably get it (and maybe an extra) now.

I have decided to put money into my old bike rather than buy an overpriced used one in todays market. I lucked out last night and picked up an open box brake for more than half off and the other brake is on order. I may never get that second brake. YOLO!

Well, I’ll post up here when I get a resolution.
When did you buy yours? I got mine a few weeks ago.

Does anyone have a utility trailer with a ramp I can rent/borrow for the weekend before I get one from homedepot on the morning?

I'll put in an additional $25 so @Jose_Dirte can get an #EAF tattoo across their lower back.

That's what the local bike shop implied to me as well. I ended up buying parts online because the parts I needed were so backordered the manufacturer stopped accepting orders.

I think ultimately I need a new bike but I'm also at a height where some XL frames are too big and I'm not gonna order one blind and wait 8 weeks. This L is close enough but is still uncomfortable on longer rides.

I'm on the fence about buying another set of tires, 26s are harder and harder to come buy but they're also stupid expensive for good tires... there are a bunch of Maxxis fakes on Amazon though
