What Pleasant Surprises have you discovered?

For me, discovering that the visors slide on their spindles was a pleasant surprise on a sunny late afternoon when the sun was was beaming into the cab from behind my left shoulder.

 

The hard pull of the engine with the skinny pedal floored from 3500rpms to 6000rpms.

 

Never thought I'd spend so much money in mods.

Don’t most vehicles have that option though?


My pleasant surprise was when I found out my truck locks itself when the keys are not in it, great feature IMO.

 

Man, tell me about it. I’ve never spent so much money on any of my vehicles, and the sad part is I still want like 15k worth of stuff...

 

I discovered I had a bat in my grill when I got mine.

 

Wtf, haha!

 

Twice now , the Fob unlocking the doors stops working correctly . The surprise is that the next day it works correctly again . Nice and warm feeling !

 

That poop stain in my passenger seat, well I learned that her poop water tastes sweet and has a bitter after taste.

 

Oh yeah, I forgot that some girl pooped her pants on your passenger seat. What a story.

 

OH YEAH!!! Wasn't that the first date?

 

That my tractor has an ignition switch position that will not kill the PTO when tractor is in reverse. I completely missed it when I read the manual, I completely missed seeing the icon on the actual switch and it is prominent to see. I accidentally put the switch in that position and when I backed up, the PTO worked! Magic! Six months of heartache gone in an instant.

Oh, you meant on a truck. Sorry.

What a lovely first date. I’m sure she left a great impression.

 

My Cub Cadet Zero Turn has the same thing for shutting down the blades . Thing is I know about it and it still took a year to remember to press the button to over ride it before the first time it shuts the blades down .

 

the fob slides perfectly in between the seat and the center console making for a fantastically difficult retrieval compared to the last vehicle I had. 10/10 would drop again
