Too much, because I don't have anymore of that paint and it was $25 a can.

Just have to add that on my own. Let me think about it. I've been blowing through money lately.

In the ever reoccurring FIRESTONE LIFETIME ALIGNMENT segment:

I was pleasantly surprised after the spindle swaps and coilover adjustments were completed the truck was tracking straight, so I went to see how things were sitting at the local Firestone...man those techs are getting to know me, ha!

Happy to help the tech score a full alignment job that took all of 14 minutes, aka hooking up the machine/tires and then just making a slight toe adjustment...with the extra 3/8 lift and pinch weld smashed, gotta love not rubbing or tearing up more tread!!

    Win-win in my book 20210716_135627.jpg

DAMNNNNNNN, and to think I covered and/or sanded it away:confused:

I forgot about that dude. I have so much going on with the truck right now maybe I should get caught up and go that direction.

Oh! Accutune called back. They changed their mind about the rebuild. Apparently inside wasn't as pretty as the outside. Oh well.

That's kinda silly they would say you don't need a rebuild solely based off of the outside. I'm glad they're getting redone.

Agreed. I'm glad they're getting done, too. That way the fronts and rears will be on the same schedule.

Thanks to the sage advice of randyfab....16 inch 600 pound coils.... preload went from this, on 14 inch 700s...

I'm so glad that it worked out and it's what you wanted. It's amazing how much nicer a softer coil rides.

I've been thinking about a softer coil. Going down to 650 at 14 or 600 at 16, not sure if the latter would work. I have very little preload as is. Thoughts?

It all depends on how far away the upper and lower coil perches are when the shock is fully compressed. You need enough room so the coil doesn’t bottom out before the shock. Brian and I took some measurements and decided it should fit. Kings, I’m not sure.

I have some 14 650 and some 14 700... my fox shocks were so preloaded out made for a harsh ride.... brainstormed with randy and pulled the trigger...it is a total 180 as far as ride and soaking up bumps.

But if you in the market for different springs, I got you...lol. no king blue tho, just silver.
