Keep an eye on coastal...because if you can weld, all of these inevitable upgrades would be a bit cheaper for you! They don't do a Slider yet but I'd bug em for it to find out haha.

Shift knob indicates FJ or is it from a 4Runner Trail?

You should post an after pic to go with the before pic.

There is a guy in Quebec making bolt on sliders for $900 Cdn. And Overland Racks Ontario was supposed to start making them. Buying in Cdn $ and saving on shipping would be a substantial savings over ordering from the US.
Also there are templates to convert weld on sliders to bolt on. https://www.tacomaworld.com/threads/diy-bolt-on-frame-plates-for-sliders.302192/ .

    Check build thread!
If 1st gen prices were reasonable I would 100% be driving one instead of my 3rd gen. However, when I'd be paying the same as what I did for my 3rd gen, I can't justify it.

Modified the level of gas in the tank
Define reasonable...let's start with 2nd gen Tacoma prices for this and go up from there. We can negotiate!

Perhaps I should post my before and after pictures with less than 25,000 kms in between :)

But your cap has been surprisingly durable along with the rest of the truck.

You should we all love pictures! Your truck is an awesome build and you certainly have the knowledge!

Lots of TLC over the years to keep it in good shape and the cap does have failing clearcoat on the roof And a sketchy hinge on the rear door but the side access of the cap is awesome. I’ve taken it off a few times but for the most part it stays on as it’s very functional for me.

Without the cap it it seems so small because it is tiny but it’s mighty for its size.

So I have my caster cam maxed out and I'm still rubbing my cab mount on the driver side. The alignment report says I have 4.6 driver and 4.5 passenger. I have my SPC UCA's in the D position. The shop couldn't move the camber cam. Would that have helped move the wheel farther forward?

25 minutes into my drive to Collingwood and a partridge decided to run across the street and get his intestines wrapped around my control arm...

Drone acquired as well, man, they are cool but hard to get used to!

Drone is good for recon ahead if you got a copilot, whether on the trail or in the city stuck in traffic
4.5 is more than you need for good handling. (FSM spec is 1.2-2.8 deg caster)
    1. Reduce caster at the UCA to "F" to improve tire clearance.
    2. Rear cam all the way out.
    3. Front cam all the way in if not seized.
    4. Straighten toe (because that changes camber).
    5. Adjust camber with the UCA slot.
    6. Torque cam bolts.
    7. Lift vehicle by the frame and check ball joint clashing with coil spring at full droop.

Why they couldn't move front cam bolts? Are they seized?
You could go to F to max forward the wheel but that'll require camber adjustment. I doubt you'll be able to do it with UCA joint

(Follow the above instructions 3J0H22A provided)

Says won't fit a long bed. Never sure if that includes access cab or not because double-cabbers always forget about the access cab

That's what I assumed but you see what I mean? Access cab is long box!
