It's solid as can be. Definitely nice not having to think about or worry about a rock bending the stock thin tabs

An excellent video for sure. Thank you for sharing it. I understood what he was talking about and I knew this was the case all this time. All I’ve been talking about with my truck is without the lift I couldn’t even drive on a flat street without rubbing using my tires never mind compression. This is slowly getting better as I find shops to do some cutting and remove some material for me. Actually my truck is in really good shape right now. I still would like to get some different fender flares and find someone that can actually pound down that pinch weld in the back of the wheel well. After that I’m 98% positive I will have full range of compression without any rubbing. It’s been a long journey but I’m almost there.

You need to be careful pounding the pinch weld, some guys have water leak into the cab after doing it. A good Offroad shop will know what they are doing.
    Good luck with your build!

Finding a good off-road shop has been remarkably painful and difficult. Seriously man. Who in the Tampa area? Who in Florida? I’ll travel.

I agree but they aren’t ripping people off on purpose. It’s just they don’t know what they are doing.

Have you asked in your local regional thread? That is what I would do. You may even have a skilled local member that does side jobs (i.e., attention to detail, not a rush job to get the next client in).

I’m told it’s as forward as it can go. Is there some pictures I can take that will help you determine if that’s true or not?

Yes I have found a local shop that’s pretty awesome. However it sounds like what I have for my truck is wrong with these fox 2.5‘s and 14” 700lbs springs.

You should have been given an allignment printout. Try to find it and post it up. Stole this example from another thread.

I'm guessing even though they told you that, it is not true. Maybe that is as far as they could get it, but another shop could get you more.

Love my 2.5s with 600lb springs lol. Sits nice and low with 35s and rides plush. Usually measuring just over an inch of lift depending on how I park. Typical skids, bumpers, winch, etc. 3.5 degrees of caster, cmc, pinchweld flattened, 35x10.5s, and have the slightest rubbing now that I added some wheel spacers, but before that I had nearly none. Almost maxed out preload wise/spring bottoming out wise, but it works.

I don’t know how you did that. But if you put those tires on my truck it would rest on the flare fenders even without compression.

Maybe your caster is 2 something. His is 3.5. I strongly recommend you figure out what yours is. Big variable that you are not bringing into this discussion.
