Thanks. I kinda had the same thought, but figured it's helpful to get opinions like this as well.

These are the only pics I have so far.
It's a Colorado truck, CO Springs specifically, for almost all it's life.

I don't have the truck in front of me. It's in CO and I am in NM.

I text the dude just now and asked for a pic of the leaf hangers. Seems like most surface IMO as well. The main area of concern for me in those pics is what looks to be the drivers side rear body mount area.

    Everything but the driveshaft. B03A - 410
Long story but mine had gravel rash on the outer side of the frame. I wanted to nip it in the bud. This is a Tyler Texas truck that hasn't been exposed to salt. I use a cup/brush style wire wheel and a Milwaukee angle drill to brush off the old paint. Also, I used a small suitcase sandblaster that I bought at Harbor Freight some years ago to get into and around the body mounts where the wire wheel could not go. The Milwaukee angle drill is reversible. Reversing direction helps to save the wire brush and seemed to make the process go faster.

    upload_2021-7-16_10-6-22.jpg

Then I primed it with some self-0etching primer.

Painted it using Rustoleum Farm Implement paint.

One thing to note is the inside of the frame didn't need to be touched.

Good to go, everything looks superficial. Hit it with a wire brush and spray some Rust-Oleum over it.

I'll take a pic of my CO truck rear frame here in a min

That stuff gets everywhere. My dad was super disappointed when *one* winter trip to Iowa turned the underside of his new trailer rusty. And so much labor to fix too.

Is htat box just a junction to hook up the cord that goes to the truck?

Yes that's the junction box. It's supposed to be weather proof but obviously that is not the case lol. It's less than a year old. Also the nickel plated connections seem pretty bad lol

HA yeah. They always cheap out on the parts that do the waterproofing. I'd be tempted to just splice and solder it, chances are its just a box to make it easy to assemble at the factory.

Need your guy’s opinions. I put this garage floor color flake down over the pure white and I’m not really feeling it. Should I keep it or paint it over?

Greetings from Colorado Springs. It's a good place to be a truck. Dry air and minimal road brine.

My truck lived about 40 miles south of here its whole life until I bought it last year. After 20+ years and 200k+ miles I can still turn the nuts and bolts with hand tools.
