At Serra Toyota in Decatur Alabama this morning. Getting fuel pump recall done. Just bought the truck used a month ago. And got notice that is was never done. While I’m here they are going to attempt my wheels and we will see what happens. Btw they have 4 new Tacoma’s here that are for sale. Not on hold. All 4 2wd drive couple sr5s a xp and a sport.56D68A10-DAF8-4B65-A94D-6FCC4EED8561.jpg The xp is army green and it’s super sharp

Thanks for that. If you've ever seen the posts on here from people with a leaky third-tail light, and all the mildew that appears, that's my fear. I might put a bead of silicone around it until I figure out what to do.

Thanks for the install tip and the recommendation. I just ordered the DIR harness and the lights.
Question- do you think the new connection with these new LED pods offer the same amount of water proofing as the OEM connector? Or should we maybe add electrical tape or heat shrink tubing?

I've been thinking I should either pull off the black Tacoma overlays, or switch the TRD emblems to black! Looks mismatched as is imho. Where did you get the black ones? They look great!

Yes I was just kidding. I sold my 2016 after owning it 5.5 years. Got exactly what I paid new. Not many vehicles that you can drive free for 5.5 years. I bet you won't see that on a Colorado forum. Good luck with the new truck. I really enjoyed mine but simply didn't drive it much. Sold it and took 1/2 the money, bought a 2012 Tacoma, and splurged on a few mods. Still ahead by $16k and have all I need for occasional use. May reconsider when the 4th gen comes out depending on the changes they make. As long as I have any Tacoma I am a happy camper.

I think it is probably fine - haven't heard anyone posting issues. But, I think I will probably add some tape to mine just in case.

@Tullie D 's method makes it so easy to pull the lights. The Morimotos are a little tighter but it still works. Pulled mine and added some electrical tape around the connection just in case. 5 minute job.

No, I didn’t get the ecgs bushing done. No vibrations at all. Truck feels solid, although, it’s only be one day!
