Ah okay, yeah that is the thing holding me back from lifting it at the moment. Truck looks good though!

 

You can get that done anywhere. The dealer will be the most expensive with the least benefit. I paid $20 per wheel

 

It was more of a sideways slide. Also I am getting old and really do need glasses. It sucks.

Today I did and oil change, upgraded to the metal filter housing, greased the Front driveshaft, and did a drain and fill on the transfer case. Ravenol has an awesome bottle. I've never come across the extender straw before. Easy to fill, no pump needed. As you all alluded to the plastic filter housing was torqued to 9000 ftlbs from the dealer. I checked the torque on the metal one I installed 3x just because it was so much less lol. Oil looked clean after 5k miles and the transfer case oil looked good after 35k miles, just a bit dark. Odd there is no magnet on the drain but such is life. last fluid to swap out is the tranny fluid. not sure when I'll get to that but certainly before winter.

Today, I added Weathertech floormats for the front and back. Man, I am going to go broke with all the add-ons I want to do!

 

That sounds like a really good idea, thanks. I'm going to look into that right now. Don't have any experience with that at all, but I'm sure there's some good info out there somewhere I can read up on.

 

How much damage did that do?

 

Dechrome it., Meso LED's inside, Letters for the embossed section of the tailgate, tailgate hose clamp to help prevent walk off's, diff breather for rear diff, drain extension for AC drain hose, etc........ Congrats!

As an aside, the OEM light gray ones were installed differently. One was closer to the top plastic bed cap than the other and one was closer to the cab than the other.

 

Brought mine home Wednesday night. Removed the lower air deflector today. Ordered some badge overlays to match the tailgate and a Cali Raised LED light bar for behind the lower grille.

Installed Rola Rack. Kind of a pain in the arse to install a “so called” Taco fit per manufacture, but knew what to expect from prior posts here.. ready for road test
