Good point. I want to tuck everything up as high as possible without causing any damage. How far do people space down for the little bump to cover the diff? 0.5” enough?

I've got some urethane bushing sleeves and am relocating mine to the sides of the cross members. Then I can flush mount the skid to the rear cross member and make a spacer to flush it to the front crossmember. The bump for the diff will be a separate skid

What’s the reasoning behind a second skid for the bump? What’re you relocating to the sides? I’m having a hard time picturing it

It's gonna be heavy ass thick steel. But as tight to the diff as I can make it. The rest of the skids are all going 3/16 al with a thin uhmwpe skin. I don't want to hit the diff skid and it transfer the energy into the al. part.

I'm relocating those diff mounts you pictured so I can get the main sections of skid even higher

Nice, I’m excited to see that. I’m still trying to figure out how much I can trim up front. This ARB is like a giant chin, but I think I can slim it down some more.

I hate the ARB for that reason it's nice for "overlanding" type stuff but really kills you in approach angle. They are worse than the other offerings out there. I can't wait to get my new bumper made and tuck everything really really tight.

I’m about to spend wayyy more time than it’s worth slimming it down, but it’s bought and paid for and already cut up, so I might as well. I like having the flat face to push shit around here though- gates, brush, trees and such. No cows haha but you never know….

Half an inch is enough under the diff.

Before you put the bumper back on get it so it can roll outside take the grille off and pressure wash the condenser and rad. you'll thank me later. You'll get a crap ton of debris out of it which really affects the cooling ability.

Easier said than done now. I’m redoing some electrical, so everything is disconnected not to mention I don’t have any dollies to wheel it out on.

Bumper is trimmed and plated. Kind of at a loss on how steep to make the skid and where to make mounting points. There’s so much room, but obviously it wouldn’t be ideal to go straight up with it. What’re y’all doing with the hoses?
