I'm going to pave over the baseball diamond and put up another outbuilding. I wouldn't want any wayard kids finding their way onto my property and enjoying sports.

Seriously though, whoever currently owns that house is a sports nut. Putting green, baseball diamond, batting cage, basketball hoops.

    Pro sports player?

keep the cage, get some super tight weaved netting put in as well. multi use. Use it to swing the golf clubs without leaving your property.

I wasn't born yet. I wouldn't exist in Orwell's future dystopic nightmare for at least another year.

I’m in the market for a driveway basketball goal and guess who sells them. Our good friends at Academy Sports. I don’t own the stock but I know a bunch of you do so I’ll support the apes and buy from them. Think of me on the next pop :rocket:

Let's bring that back to your Tralfamdore comment. Being able to see in 4 dimensions the past can be accessed at any time. Just like the future and present can. So if the present you wants to look at 1949, the year 1984 was published, you do it in the present. Which then becomes the past as your looking at it and puts you into the future.

Too deep for a stocks thread? lol

I'm a big fan of multi dimensional theories.

If our universe exists, I can't imagine why other universes don't exist in other dimensions, many of which we probably can't even conceive of. Seems plausible to me that occasionally there might be a ripple in time/space every few trillion years or so and they might potentially interact with each other.

We know so little about our own universe that to even speculate that our version of physics is universal gives me a chuckle.

When I was young I remember reading something in Science. It's a legit publication that's been around since the 1880's. It's name implies exactly what it strives for.

Anyway, at the time(circa 1985) Science said that there was about 100 stars in the known universe for every grain of sand on earth. The latest estimates from Science are 10000 stars per grain. That's a 9900% increase in 35 years. Crazy.

But back to the young me and that original figure. I had this thought. Every grain of sand has an atomic structure. SiO2. Every atom in that structure has protons, electrons and neutrons. Every grain of sand is composed of 50 or so quintillion atoms. What if the known universe was just an atom? Mind fucked yet? lol
