Ouch! Well in the ounce of prevention too late category there is this method of trying to reinforce the shock mount with a spacer mounted above it:

Diet Taco... trying to keep things light

Though many times with this kind of failure folks recommend confirming there isn’t some other root cause as you might end up just transferring the load to the next weakest link.

Anyway, hope it doesn’t crimp your trip too much!

    Already on it.

LMAO. No. I just drove it.

Now that 's funny in an esoteric way. Screen shot this and tell Danny to go fuck himself as well. lol

No crimp at all. Already put a text in to @eimkeith to get some of his bomber strut tower reinforcements. Yeah, that ounce of prevention didn't happen. lol

Golden. I did manage to break the passenger side on the way home. I ended up going up to Green Lake. Then I rallied like a dumb ass to meet a buddy for dinner at 4. I left the lake at 3 and made it in time. lol

Also, here's the real Coyote Flat. @MonkeyProof most likely knows what I'm talking about.

You got told to post that? At least that's what is implied. Who else should I tell to go fuck themselves? lol

Sure, you can't get banned from IFS. Unless your that dude that got banned. But we don't talk about that over there. Which is fine unless your that guy. lol

Dang Dude, I'm dying to get up there. I'll probably take the easy way up though cause I'm still a baby.
I'm a bit worried the place over run by instaoverlanders though. Was it crowded?

I saw 5 rigs today. That's very low traffic compared to usual. Shoot me a PM when you want to head up and I'll "baby" sit for a few hours. It's a really large, really cool place. Just don't get sucked into the IG crowd and think Baker Lake is the only thing it has offer. lol

Right on brother. Either August or September. I'm moving all my crap from my shop to our garage this month.
We can break in my new lockers. And skids, and sliders..

For a true break-in we should do this. Typical of my driving style and not for everyone but if your down I can promise you you'll get those lockers working.

In a day. Enter Coyote via Big Pine(aka the hard way). Side trip to Baker Creek. Out Baler and up to the lookout at the end of Coyote. Out Coyote via Bishop(aka the overland way). Up 395 to Sand Canyon. Up Sand Canyon to Wheeler Ridge. Out Sand Canyon back down 395 to Buttermilk Loop. Camp about 3/4 through BML.

Wake up. Finish Buttermilk Loop. Haul ass down 395 and hit

    PM only. lol

back to 395 and up Armstrong. Out Armstrong and home. Sound good? lol

Wow. Lol. Did I mention I only have 32s?
It does sound like we would get some use out of my new winch though.

Honestly, with 32's and dual locked I shouldn't have to tug you at all. There's 3 spots on that entire route I might have to get out and spot you. One is for sure. The line everyone wants to take isn't the line. The other two are more straight forward but still have a tiny bit of pucker on smaller tires.
