I have a 15 double cab 4x4 Sr 4.0L. I have TRD wheels and tires. When ever stop hard in the least, it will bind up the rear springs and axle. So much so that the truck violently surges forward like 16 inches when I let off the brake. I'd really like to solve this problem.

I'm looking to move to Wisconsin soon so chances are I'm not likely to lift my truck much if any. Maybe Bilstein 5100. But no spacers or anything stupid. I'm likely to tow a trailer on occasion, but no idea as to how much or anything. Just planning ahead. I have some stuff in the bed and might even haul more stuff in there later. But chances are I will never go beyond 5100 2in lift.

What would be the best way to solve my axle wrap, level the rear squat look, and generally make my truck more useful?

Quit stomping on the gas with your foot on the brake.

Really... I'm driving normal. I have and automatic. Stop light turns for me and I got to stop a bit shorter then a normal comfortable distance and this stuff starts doing this with the axle wrap. I'm not doing anything out of the ordinary to cause it. The dealer is giving me the general run around with the extended warranty. Not sure why I bothered with the warranty but I did. It has been known to scare my passengers. But by all means tell me how I'm driving excessive or stupid, in order to wrap these oem soft springs. I'm not talking about trying to launch my truck or stop for a deer I'm about to hit. Just your run of the mill quick changing stop lights in a 35 mph zone that the light suddenly changes as I get close. This problem is so stupid. Idk maybe being an SR I got the stupid soft pre-runner springs that have super light duty. Just need a fix to avoid this happening under normal around town driving at 35 mph. I'm not supercharged, lifted. Just wheels and tires is all that have been done to the suspension.

Old man emu or dobinsons leaf springs. I have older old man emus dakars and have occasional squeaking, which can be a tad annoying, but I think newer model springs have better pads between the leafs to help prevent squeaking.

    Leaf Spring Clamps

Read about this in a traction bar thread and looked into it further before installing some leaf clamps ($25 cad) to reduce axle hop. Old drag racer trick apparently. As per a YouTube video I mounted them 6" in front of the axle. It seems to have stiffened up my bagged stock leafs and the rear end feels more planted and solid so extremely happy with this cheap mod.

Spray bombed black before install. May cut them down a bit and flip them upside down at a later time.
Still will need to replace the worn leafs eventually.

Pics in this post in my build thread since I can't find the pics in my phone anymore.

My bad OP I misread the post. There has to be something else going on, the factory springs while soft are not nearly that bad. As someone mentioned maybe a video so we can better see has to what may be going on.

Same issue here but mine is amplified with 2.25" of lift blocks. I built a traction bar which eliminated all axle wrap but the metal bracketry keeps braking on the bar at the axle end of the bar. The stock leaf springs are total junk and designed solely for ride quality of a new empty/unloaded truck. I recommend you change your leaf springs to aftermarket.
