Went fishing again Friday from 0530-1030. Not a damn thing caught thanks to all the dolphins out there. They’re really getting annoying although a few tarpons were hooked up.

Good to see someone else charging their earbuds on the qi pad. Feel like people don't really like it

Where do you guys hide your relays when you use the blue sea fuse panel? My temporary solution isn’t going to last much longer, all my slots are used up so I’m looking at other options, the busman tray is nice but hard to find in canada.

earbuds and the girlfriends phone or my friends phone’s, I have an older iPhone 8 so I don’t have that luxury but it does get used. The batteries in those earbuds last for a week or two though so it doesn’t get used for that often.

I've only got one relay so far (light bar) and it's just tucked away between the stock battery and body. I hate a bunch of shitty in-line stuff spread out all under the hood though. :p

I've been mocking-up a relay/fuse box to go on top of the engine compartment OEM fuse/relay box right behind the battery, using DT connectors so it's easy to pull out and/or get to the OEM stuff if I need to. Wires exit the bottom, thus the little riser feet. Fuses are to fuse the switch side of the relay, not the load side. The relays are bog standard 40A Bosch stuff, even though they say Online LED Store. 5A fuses are just placeholders -- will be swapped out with 3A.

I’ve been looking at those boxes too, I also only had one relay but I just added two more in there this weekend so it’s hard to keep it clean and today looking, I just had a grote 6 fuse holder to keep away all the in-line fuses but it’s full now so it’s time for one of those blue sea boxes or maybe just keep the grote and use the one you posted for relay required circuits.

I use ECT often. I'd rather have it on the steering wheel.

I would not be surprised at all.
To install four vinyl door sill protectors, a dealership quoted me 1 to 1.5 hours labor at $120/hr!

This is the best way to react to this situation. All people should do is laugh at something like this, you did the right thing. Just some inconvenience you'll have while its being repaired but no one was hurt. all that matters.
Yes we all want our truck looking perfect but it really is just an object to get you to point A to Point B.
I tell my friends that if they visit me and want to go explore with their family i say take my truck. Their initial reaction is "no i can do that, i wouldn't want to mess it up" i tell them "its not a big deal if you mess it up. Drive it into the ocean...I dont care thats what insurance is for" lol
I know some people who would have a meltdown over this, not talk to the friend again, flight, etc. Im even surprised people TW didn't freak out about this situation. "id beat my friends ass" lol

Love what you did with the brown. Was it difficult to swap out the door and dash panels? Really considering something similar.

TRD emblems, tinted windows, OEM running boards, AVS vent shades, RMAS upgrade, LED lights in front and rear, interior LED lighting upgrade, LED lighting in bed, touch control dash mount for LED lighting, auxillary 12v and USB jacks in bed, replace all speakers with Infinity, custom mod with Bose tweeters, TRD Pro illumination mod...
My 2017 TRD OR only has 1x blank in the front console so I moved the ECT button to accommodate an ABC switch. I find this location more convenient to use and I thank MESO for making the single switch housing for me.
The blank switch spot is going to be used for an LED display indicator for my future multi camera install mod.
I had recently added the MESO micro-switches on my illuminated TRD Pro shift knob which will be used for instant triggering the front and upper rear located cameras that I have yet to install.

I will take my best friends over my truck any day of the week. They are far more valuable.

It will get fixed. I will say that bill will be much higher than it looks. :)

Sorry, forgot to answer your 1st question. I requested a single switch housing from MESO(not posted on the site, you need to custom order). The ECT extension is available from a few TW members.
I used a hot knife attachment for my soldering gun to cut the hole. Then filed the edges smooth so the switch housing fits flush. Then used Gator glue to hold permanently in place.

    Minor stuff.
Technically it was yesterday….. Loaded up the truck and took a couple of coworkers night fishing. Had an amazing lightning show from the storms over Philly the whole time we were there. I caught a sand shark on my new 10’ 6” custom surf casting pole with a Tsunami SaltX 6000 reel. What a set up!!!
