Seems like I get it right and fix the rub, and then I go out and play in the desert and knock it all outta whack again. Gotta buck up and get me some new LCAs and alignment bolts to fix it. Mine are hella seized right now.

None so far. Although, I haven’t put much weight in the cab or bed yet. I’d imagine it might rub the plastic behind the front wheel well when turning down a steep driveway while under weight.

IF you get a chance could you take some pics from the side of the truck and the tires clearance with steering at lock both ways?

I'm sure this is buried deep in this thread but I've read several different threads and cant find the exact answer I'm looking for. Don't beat me up to bad with this, I'm committing several sins here.

Currently have a 2010 DCLB with a spacer lift, running 285/70/17 with slight rub at full lock only in reverse. With my stock wheels I did not rub at all, which I did have wheel spacers. Currently have Walker Evans Racing wheels 17 x 8.5 with 4.80 backspacing and 1mm offset. Looking at moving to a taller skinny tire 255/80/17, has anyone had any experience putting 255/80/17 or 255/85/16 (same size other than rim size) on a truck with a spacer lift with aftermarket wheels?

I have 255/75-17 w/ 5100's / AAL / 885's and from what I can see the 80's would be VERY close to rubbing and looks like it would need a trim.

So those of you with the cooper ST maxxs, how quiet, or not, would you say they are? If you had to tow a travel trailer any distance, would you say they’d sing too much for comfort?

I am looking at 255/85/16 on stock wheels on a new 3” Bilstein/ icon rxt leafs lift coming in July. Unfortunately in 16” there are only 6 tire choices. My other choice I guess is the Toyo OC M/T.

    look forward to your comments.

I just upgraded from Hankook 265/75/16 to Toyo AT3 255/80/17. So far only rubbing was on the front mud flaps on reverse which I already removed. Gained about an inch of lift and not really feeling any significant power lose. I'm on Eibach pro lift kit with a 2.5in front lift, Wulf aal 2.0in rear lift and oem uca. Liking how the tires fills in the wheel well.

Just got my SCS F5's in yesterday, 17x8.5 -10 offset. Thinking about putting them on 255/80R17 tires on 2020 TRD OR stock suspension, some people say they don't have any problems some people say they have rubbing. Anyone have any experience similar?

Toyo AT3. So far they feel good and look great. Slight rubbing on front inner fender plastic pieces when reversing and one weird angle. Everything else clears. Running 17x8 with 0 offset. I have a feeling I'm going to be lacking power when going up the mountains and towing my lightweight camperPXL_20210626_010559991.MP.jpg PXL_20210626_025311161.MP.jpg
