My first and current Toyota is a 2018 DCSB. Hopefully the next few years are as good as the last three.

Not much on the 07 yet. 18 is gone, but was a greata truck. TRD Pro grill, Gator FX3, Homelink mirror, Black out badges & exhaust tip, Remote start. Future TRD exhaust, skid plate.
1995.5 Tacoma reg cab 5 speed 4x4 4cyl manual. Cardinal red. super fun
1998 Tacoma access cab v6 4x4 manual. White, added TRD supercharger.
2007 Tacoma access cab v6 4x4 manual. White, TRD sport, had for 11 years, my nephew has it now. great truck.
2018 Tacoma double cab v6 4x4 auto. Cement, TRD Sport.

I have a home video somewhere with the 1st one on it, it was a great looking truck. I saw it like 2 years after I traded it and the paint was super oxidized already.
The supercharged one was fun, but had to use it as trade to get my dream car, it had manual door locks and windows which I ended up hating. It was fast.

    Cheers
    M.

I bought a 1998 T100 in 2001, it had come off a 3-year lease and had 26,000 miles. I sold it in 2018 with 145,000 miles. I loved that truck, it was bulletproof. Besides the normal consumables, the only things I replaced were the radiator, muffler, and starter contacts. The photos are what I used in the ads, the first person who looked at it bought it.

Its replacement is a 2018 DCLB OR. I’m happy with the truck, but I did lose a good bit of bed space and the interior is smaller, more plasticky, and cheap compared to the T100.

    Okay, I'm in.

First is my 2006 Sport DC 4x4. My girl never let me down. Moved me and my family across the country, got me out of some tight jams, and never had a mechanical issue. Miss her:

My newest Tacoma is my 21 Sport DC 4x4. Went with the darker Army Green and blacked her out. So far, she's been a great replacement. Hoping I get 16 years out of this one as well (or more).

That Forest Green '93... yea that's the one I had too - a real beater that took a lickin and kept on tickin...
All I ever did was change the spark plugs, the oil, and the tires.

Seeing as how the only vehicles I’ve ever driven/owned are manual Toyota trucks, here we go:

    1980 Toyota Pickup:
Inherited from my brother in 1998. Was my high school and early college vehicle. Put a lift in it and some 32s. It was a rust bucket but also a tank.
    upload_2021-7-18_10-42-53.jpg

Next was my 2000 Tacoma SR5 3.4L V6 manual. Installed a 3” lift and 33’s. It was a great truck and the only reason I sold it was because I needed something with more room to tote around my precious cargo (kids).
    upload_2021-7-18_10-45-2.jpg

And currently, 2017 TRD Pro Manual. 33” tires, sliders, led stuffs, and a short throw Core shifter. Love this truck.

Funny stuff. My first Toyota wasn’t actually mine because I wasn’t old enough to drive it. But it was the same as yours. I think it was a 92 though, also bought in Sacramento. My dad saw the ad in the paper for one at the special price and camped out to get it. No A/C, we called it “The Microwave”

I lived in the Bay Area at the time, we didn't need no A/C - but I needed it when I moved to Mid-West LOL

At the time, (Summer 1979) I thought I would buy a Datsun because I liked the body style. Then an acquaintance mentioned that he had owned a Toyota and drove the piss out of it and it had just kept on running, so I decided to take a chance. Long-bed 5-speed, price - $6300.

Here is the only halfway decent photo I have of it (a double exposure, at that) showing the Centerline wheels I mounted. It was orange:

    Scan0006.jpg

Don't have any good photos of my 3rd gen either, yet. Price - $35k. Here, the '20 sits in the driveway:

    IMGP5512 - Copy - Copy.jpg

In between these two I've owned: 1985 long-bed 5-speed; 1994 V-6 access cab; 2002 4-cyl access cab Prerunner; 2011 4-cyl access cab Prerunner; 2019 V-6 4x4 access cab (for the wife). I put 265k on the '85s original clutch. All Toyotas bought new.
