    Nope, back on shift. Went to the mountain Thu-Sat morning. Kids had a great time. Kristi is flying with them back to PHX Friday. Was cheaper for her to fly with them versus unaccompanied; something about the flights authorized for unaccompanied. We're going to Hope, AK Wednesday to let them fish for Salmon.

    Yep.
    Had lightning storms both thursday and friday night, little of rain. Heard a plane Saturday AM, heli was in shortly after. I knew something was going on. Fire was over the ridge, directly across from camp. I could see a little wisp of smoke once in a while. Heli came low through the valley along the river. He must have been surveying the river because next thing I know he's back with the water bucket. He took a couple dips right near camp. I had my camera out and everyone in camp was out watching them. They flew all day yesterday running water up there. Must of had a crew jump in late yesterday because they were flying equipment up there today. He was taking gas cans and chainsaws in a cargo net when they stopped me on the road.

    Yep. It was in the upper 80's all weekend. I broke a sweat carrying a 2 gallon bucket of water from the pump to my camp.... Can't imagine what they have to endure working in this heat!

    been home since 3. therm said it was 85-ish inside when i got home. AC on and its only down to 80.
    camper is hotter but smaller space and more BTUs to cool it down.

    think i'm sleeping in the driveway tonight!

    You need to put a wifi thermostat in your apartment, so you can remotely turn the AC down on your way home. That way it's at least marginally cool when you get there!
