I filmed it in action. Video starts out with suspension in full droop and I lower the frame back down. Both the slip yoke and cb move. Pretty cool @ovrlndkull @Brian422

I went the Inchworm adapter route which converts the Prerunner transmission to 4x4. Unfortunately the company that sells the adapter doesnt make them anymore forcing anyone attempting to do this conversion to buy the 4wd transmission instead which is pricier. The inchworm adapter route pushes the transfer case back about 2 inches which means I had to shorten the rear driveshaft 2" and lengthen the front driveshaft 2". Still came out cheaper than buying a 4wd trans. The driveshaft guy convinced me to just do a 1pc rear driveshaft since it had to be shortened anyways.

Just seems like the normal carrier bearing. It will flex like that too. It’s just gonna wear out faster.

I actually considered buying the rear part of an F and cut the output spline, but I felt I was messing with something that I shouldn’t. I discarded the idea and went with buying a whole F tranny. Now I have an E sitting at the garage. Asking for 300$ or I might just save it to scavenge parts if required down the road.

Driver or passenger side? I had already drill a 1/2 hole in my driver side grommet for some other wires. Just drill…very carefully

When I fish cables from the other side I usually poke an X on the rubber boot with a knife and drive a steel wire(hanger) through it and then attach the wires on the other side with some electrical tape and then pull towards the side that you wish. I tend to protect all my wires with shrink tube and then drive then inside of some wire loom. I did that for the light bar and VHF radio. Your boy happens to be part of the non ADD gang.

I like to use the rear window fuses since I have an access cab. Who needs rear power windows anyway.
