I’ve recently bought a new Double Din head unit (Dual DMCAP70) and plan to swap my head unit to gain extra features (CarPlay, Bluetooth, etc…). I’ve got the Double Din adapter/faceplate (Metra) but I cannot figure out which interface I need to retain steering wheel controls. Also I’m not sure if I need anything additional (I.e wiring harnesses, etc…).

What should I go with? (PAC, Metra, Idatalink, Crux).

Hoping to keep all features (fade/balance) and not have to spend more than I paid for the head unit.

Crutchfield offers multiple interface modules at varying prices. Just trying to figure out which one is best for the price, easiest setup, longevity, etc… I know I can easily buy from crutchfield or call crutchfield but I know what they offer. I’m looking for first hand experience.

The pac works perfectly. I’ve always had iffy results with the the crux and Metra. The idatalink isn’t compatible with the dual radio so don’t waste the money

*as a former installer, I feel the need to add*
Start saving up for a new radio every 6 months or so if you go with dual, boss, Pyle, power akoustic, etc.
In the 3 years I installed, I literally (not figuratively) pulled out every single cheapo radio i installed. I finally told my boss I would no longer be installing them.

Thanks, I actually went with the PAC just out of impulse and reviews. Yea I’m sure the Dual won’t last me too long but it was a good deal with sale price, discount, and reward points so it was worth a try. Plus almost everything is sold out at Crutchfield for some reason.
