They're in the running for my next buy. Just don't know anyone who has personally owned one recently, and looking at forums is a headache lol. I'm just trying to learn a little more about em as well as their reliability. I love the wagons. I know, people have their wagon opinions, but I dig em.

    It's funny you say that.

Some months ago I mentioned getting rid of the 4R/Tacoma and getting a dedicated daily driver. Something like a Subaru wagon, and then either buying/building a crawler once we get the new house.

@xtremewlr is currently looking at subies and it sparked that interest again to just have a car for now, and dedicate a toy for later.

I can say this; my co worker is having driveability issues at the moment and even had his car hooked up to the battery tender this morning.

    I'll ask about it later.

Yeah Subies are on my short list too. As the truck gets closer to done I want a dd that can also pull some trip duties. Luckily (depending on how you look at it anyway) since the market is still what it is, I have extra time to make up my mind. I've seen both ends of the spectrum with them, with regular upkeep they go and go relatively trouble free, then on the other end, big failures. Maybe the truth is in between somewhere, but doesn't seem to be as cut and dry as it is with other models, or other brands of course.

Whats the point of low flow if you have to flush 3 times to do the job?

    @01x4

    138k miles currently

Alternator is what went out so the low voltage and constant charging of the battery is the issue.

Aside from a window regulator going out, no issues in the 9 years of ownership.

    Yep, 3 seasons.

    We enjoyed it too.

Sucks that they quit filming after that.

    I agree

I like the ones like we have at home, has a button for low flow and a button for a higher flow flush.

    Basically a #1 or #2 button

Just an 06 WRX or newer.

But again, really I can do all the duties in an LC like I have my eyes on.

Forgot to report, the buyer for my 4R came to drive it and go through it completely.

He doesn't want to wait too long but is patient; just ridiculous how sellers list a vehicle, but are so slow to respond, or not at all.

Wtf you got a car for sale for if you're not gonna answer anyone.

I'm looking at 04-07, possibly newer depending on the car and price, WRX. Leaning towards the wagon but might consider an STi if it's for the right price. But all the parts from the STi will swap over to a regular WRX.

Test drove a 2019 WRX Premium yesterday and like the car but not the price and not so much the looks of the newer models.

Looking at WRX wagons myself or if I do newer I think a late XT Forester would be fun.

I hear ya on the sellers, its weird how they're slow to respond, I've never understood it. I sold my Cruiser in about 45 to an hour from the time I posted it.

Looking at the wagons too. I don't love the newer models, and I don't like the wing on newer STIs but I've seen some good delete options.
The used prices here are still high, the other thing is finding one that hasn't been modded.

Forester is going to have a lot more room than a WRX wagon. Something to consider if you think you want the additional room for hauling shit. The WRX wagon is more of the hot hatch size.

Yeah I like the small size of them, and they're good looking little hatches in my opinion. I'm open to both. Forester is definitely a lot bigger. (I also like Golfs and Minis, I'm a fan of small)
But I'm also considering an E39 wagon, which isn't small.

I'm currently waiting for a response from the dealer on this one. I sent email about it yesterday so don't really expect anything until tomorrow. The have several wagons, including a Forester XT and an Outback XT that both look pretty good.
